Hello...

quick update:

- Enjoying Seattle life.

- Nursing Student...all I do now is study and bury my face in my books!

- Housewife to Mr. Lozoya. Yes people...we have our own place and I cook, clean, laundy...the works!

- Nothing exciting. Just clubbing on the weekends and school during the weekdays.

Sigh....-Sept. 25th, 2006 Monday was my first day of school

- No doubt, felt that fresh school year butterflies in your tummy feeling. It was koolness.

- Tons of boys!!! College boys!!- I love driving my bday present from Reyes to school and get noticed (thanks to the Bose surround system in it)....sweet 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type-S. I just have to brag about it, I mean how many 22 year olds can buy their significant other a car like what my man did? Snap*

- Full time school : 15 credits with Bio160, Anthr202 and Eng101.

- Part time job at Washington Mutual. Not for long though...Blockbuster offered me a Shift Manager job and paying me more than what I'm making at WaMu Bank. Starting in 2 weeks.

- Volunteer every Sunday at Merill Park Assisted Living and Retirement Center....very good for my nursing portfolio. Fun grandpa's and grandmas.

- My man, Reyes will be promoted District Manager in Training @ Blockbuster. YEY! So we are looking around for condo's, townhouses or a house. Very exciting!

Hello People! It has definitely been a while since tha last time I was here! Oh wells. Lemme give you guys a quick update of what has been going with my life.

As you all know. I moved to Seattle last August of 2005. So It has been a year since I've been living with my husband, the one and only Reyes. Well, I wish we could get married here in the states but the law is still against our odd but technically he is my husband. We have been together for almost 2 years (2nd year this Oct. 11). Can you believe it? Well, I can't. But I'm eternally thankful for everyday that I wake up and I see him. We have our own place. A very cute and cozy apartment with our 2 kids! Yes...kids that are doggies! We have a 6month old Chihuahua named Reina (which means "Queen" in both Spanish and Filipino-just like Reyes and I, combined!)....and 10month old Miniature Pinscher named Chucho (which means a tough guy in Mexican slang). We love our kids dearly.

Reyes, as you all know WAS in the navy. He got out December of 2005, which again I am thankful for. No more deployments and no more separation. Playing the "navy wife" role was not really that fun. Being left by yourself while your husband goes out on the sea for weeks and even months is a little bit harsh and needless to say, It sucks! While I'm way over that area, he works at Blockbuster as the Store Manager....making tons of money for me and the kids. Since he started working there, his store got to be one of the top ten stores in the district. He really loves his job....and we get TONS of movies every week. We need to buy another DVD rack, that's how much movies we have.

Me! I work at Washington Mutual Bank as a teller and the vault custodian. Yes, I go inside this steel vault, count cash, supply cash to tellers, and order more cash from the federal reserve. It's a really fun job that pays a lot for standing in front of the computer and making deposits for people. Also, this Sept. 25 is my FIRST day of school. Yes people, this boy is a full time student again. I'm going in for Nursing - RN (registered nurse) to be exact. So basically I'm in nursing school for the next 4-5yrs of my life! Good thing Washington Mutual is willing to work around my schedule so I'll be working part-time for them. I don't really have to work, even Reyes tells me not to work since he makes way enough to support us. But extra income would not hurt especially for shopping! When I get my drgree and my nursing license, Reyes and I are moving down Sacramento and buying a house or condo since he was originally form there. Also, since he served the navy, he got the veteran status which qualifies him for an approved home loan with really low interest rates. I'm excited! We have been to Sacramento a lot of times to visit his family. His family loves me. They were all so nice and so fun to be with.

And yeah, I just recently turned 20 last August 17th. We were actually in Canada for the whole week of Aug. 20-27th for our vacation. My mom threw a big bbq party for Reyes and Me since Reyes' bday was on Aug28. My family loves him. And my mom goes crazy on the kitchen whenever we are there. She would always ask "Reyes, what do you want to eat?" and she will cook it right away. Thankfully Reyes has the tongue for Filipino food, and I'm not talking about lumpia and pancit and all the common stuff.......but stuff like Kare-kare, sinigang, bagoong - the hardcore ones. So my mom loves him for that. My lil bro, Aj is very fond of Reyes. They would always play PS2 and yugi-oh card. YES...they talk Yugi-Oh. It's scary. I'm like "Is that the Reyes that  know." My older bro, CJ just got his degree in Power Engineering, got a really good job and making tons of money. He would show off his "baller" status by taking us out to like fancy restaurants and bars and clubs. I'm just really proud of my bro that he attain education and got a degree. He even paid for my books for fall quarter. 

 So y'all forgot to greet me happy bday. But you all are forgiven. LOL. And guess what Reyes got me for my bday??????? a CAR. Yes.....a real car with four wheels! He got me a 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type-S. Sweet 2-door CAR! Sporty yet very luxurious. So fast! It has heated leather seats, automatic seat, memory seats, heated widows, auto-climate, sport-shift, 17" alloy rims, V6 VTEC engine, automatic rear view mirror (it dims when someone is high beaming or flashing me) and all that jazz. The color is Anthrocyte...which is a fancy word for metallic dark grey, looks like wet black at night. Now we have 3 cars in our garage. We have Reyes' SUV, my new car and my old Honda Accord that I'm in the process of selling. I guess I can say I'm lucky to have a Reyes.

To think about it, I moved here in Seattle last year with almost $300 in my pocket not knowing what the future has for me. And I'm really glad that my life has a clear path that I can walk in without fear in recourse. I'm really thankful for my parents and my bro's for all their support and belief in me. I learned a lot about my self and being independent over the year and being with someone who unconditionally loves me. Indubitably, I've become more responsible and stronger as a person.

But yeah, It's Sunday night so Reyes and I and couple of our friends are going to a gay bar in downtown Seattle called "Neighbors" since every Sunday is "Latino Night". Oh goshnezz I go buckwild seeing all those hot latinos dancing around and stuff. But not that crazy since I have the hottest man in my side- Reyes. But yeah, It's fun. Thy play salsa, cumbia, merengue, ranchera and my favorite of all - Reggaeton! I go crazy on the dance floor as usual. It's almost 9pm and It takes me at least an hour or so to get ready. Wow...I can't believe I haven't been here since last Oct'04. But yeah, I guess here's the start.

Well yeah, a lot of things have changed in my life right now. Work wise, I quit my old job exactly 2 months ago. Starbucks hired me as a Shift Manager which was pretty cool. And, I'm seriously loving my new job right now. It's less stress, cool people, better looking customers...just a job to get me by till I go back to school. Also, I (with my family) just got our Green Card. My parents are not planning to move in the states till next year or so. With me, I'm for sure moving down there (in Seattle/Everett to be exact) this October.

My love life is doing extraordinarily well. I'm practically married to my one and only --- Reyes. We've been going out for almost 8 months. Truly my first and longest relationship I ever had. We have been through a lot for the past months of our undying love for each other. We faced and overcame his last 4 month deployment in the Navy which was the hardest obstacle we have encountered so far. He gave me the strenght to come out to my mom like 2 months ago. I love my mom to death. She's hella understanding and supportive about me and Reyes. She even said: "All i care about is your hapiness Nj. And you are obviously happy with Reyes. Just take care and I give you guys my blessing." Ain't that sweet? Goshnezz, I could not stop bawling that day. I bought Reyes to my aunt's wedding where the whole entire family adores him. We have been making out not only in gay bars but also in straight bars in Vancouve...Sonar to be exact. It was crazy. My older brother loves him and is very kool with him. My dad met him as my friend, but I'm not in the position right now to spill my beans to him. In short, I could not ask God for more.

For the past 3 months, I was technically living with him since I been spending more time in Seattle than here in Vancouver. So yeah, we actually got an apartment in Everett and moving in there this coming 24th of June(but im not moving in till Oct). So I'm pretty excited over it. My mom does not really like the whole idea of me living in with him just the fact that she thinks I'm too young and she can not let go of me anytime soon. Common now, I'm here only daughter. Sikez.

That's about it. Hopefully I wouldn't be lazy enought go back to xanga-ing and start my blogging. I have a dinner to go to. So gotta get ready. Toodles!!!

`I finally found what I’ve been looking for…

After months of not updating my xanga, I finally found the time to do it. And ima keep it brief and concise, in layman's term - short.

Yeah, I found the love of my life. His name is Reyes. He's mexican, 20yrs old, and is in the US Navy. He's originally from Sacramento, CA. But now he lives in Everett, WA...which is liek and hour and a half drive from where I live. Yeah for the past month, me and my lesbian friends have been going down the border non stop. A lot of them are hooking up with Seattle girls. That's how I met Reyes. One time, I came down with all my girls, and not expecting to meet anyone cause I thought that it was going to be an all Lesbian thing again. But yeah, I met Reyes through MJ and Christine who are both in the Navy as well. We all went to the Puyallup fair and what not. And that's how everything started. We got official on night of Oct. 11th 2004, Monday. Here are some of our pictures:

I'm seriously In love with this guy. Like, he's totally different from the other guys I dated or been with. He makes me feel hella comfotable bout myself depsite my never ending insecurities. Also, he's liek the first person who ever made me feel soo loved and wanted. I've never been in love. With my past relationship, I didn't even say "I love you" to anyone. Maybe because I knew that it wasn't gonna last and the fact that It didn't feel right. The first time Reyes's lips touched mine, it was hella different. And I felt that difference. It felt hella right, compared to the other guys I've kissed. With his kiss comes intense passion, feeling and sexiness. I knew from then that I wanna be with him. I'm hella glad that I found him. And I can see myself being with him for a long time.
