The beginning of March I decided to try out a blog style instead of Xanga... I didn't really tell anybody here because it's just so snobbish. I know. But at the same time Xanga was getting overwhelming.

This was my second studio shoot and it went so much better. I actually had 'control' of my light source to some extent. Of course there is much I shall improve on next time... but all in all I'm pleased. And she is beautiful *smile*

Photographer friends (and stalkers)

I can't seem to calibrate my screen correctly. When I print things come out much duller and grey then what I think I see on the screen. I know it's a good monitor.

Do you have any suggestions? Do you have problems with digital to paper too? Or am I just totally messing myself up even trying to get a consistent match?

I've gotten much closer to my print. (problem seems to lie in the contrast and shadows) But now I feel as though everything is dark.

I'm loading music onto itunes from my rather large and inconsistant cd library...

Came across this song (coming) and was shocked to realize I knew every word by heart. Which is unlike me. In a more hormonious connection to my personality; the actual tune seems unknown... as if it were a favourite song sung by another artist... only I don't think it is.

My computer died:

Hence my kind and talented brother Courage... "A fabulous individual"... is building me a killer machine. They tell me that it's like NASA control power at my fingertips. I'm mighty thrilled.

Once it becomes reality (now in little pieces in brown boxes, flying over our heads) I will be able to do much. Such much as finish my website (!), finish back orders for brides, edit remaining 2007 wedding photos, and fufill my not-but-possibly-photo-a-day obligations.

Soon.

Internal creative juices are becoming fermented.

Though I'm afraid even that glittering moment shall soon fade in the face of my weekend. Which is when people I love will be nearish and *twirl*.... I'm trying not to think on it.... blood pressure and all that jazz.
