| pissing in our poolso, i just read some rather disturbing facts about the the "health" of lake michigan. after thinking about how much we have polluted our lake, i began to think about those animals we scorn for rolling around in their own feces. are we any better? at least their feces doesn't kill them as the pollutants that we are putting into our fair lake could/can/eventually will do to us.
we all know how it is in gary...

| leaving for new york tomorrow, can't wait. get to hang out with clement and monica who i haven't seen in ages. it'll be [j]'s first trip out to new york, so gonna do a bunch of touristy type stuffs.
so far on the list of things to try to hit up: - ice skating in central park - guggenheim - moma - eat new york style pizza (although y'all know that chicago's deep dish owns) - go have dimsum in chinatown - shopping in soho - statue of liberty or empire state building - ground zero?
it's been forever since i've updated. life has been... good. started new job a couple months ago at a place called CashNetUSA doing sysadmin and qa work.
forsurveys is taking off (software product that was developed at the last place i worked). toby is going to mccormick place tomorrow to do some presenting for the mayor's fitness council peoples.
judy got a new job at deloitte as one of the consultants in their lease advisory division. i am so proud of her... it's great that she has taken steps to make her life happier (i.e. no more evil/dumbass boss). if you see her, make sure you say congrats ;)
moved in with tink down near 18th and calumet. things have been great so far. phat pad, cool roommate, and it's the city! i'm glad to be back after my long break out in naperville.
2006 was awesome... can't wait to see what 2007 holds in store.
merry xmas everyone and best wishes in the new year :) |
