Look at this crazy proof...

Theorem: 3=4
Proof:

Suppose:
a + b = c

This can also be written as:
4a - 3a + 4b - 3b = 4c - 3c

After reorganizing:
4a + 4b - 4c = 3a + 3b - 3c

Take the constants out of the brackets:
4 * (a+b-c) = 3 * (a+b-c)

Remove the same term left and right:
4 = 3

The Annoying Drums

This guy goes on vacation to a tropical island. As soon as he gets off the plane, he hears drums. He thinks "Wow, this is cool." He goes to the beach, he hears the drums, he eats lunch, he hears drums, he goes to a luau, he hears drums. He tries to go to sleep, yet he hears drums.

This goes on for several nights, and gets to the point where the guy can't sleep at night because of the drums. Finally, he goes down to the front desk.

When he gets there, he asks the manager, "Hey! What's with these drums. Don't they ever stop? I can't get any sleep."

The manager says, "No! Drums must never stop. It's very bad if drums stop."

"Why?"

"When drums stop...bass solo begins."

Working at the City of Vancouver till the end of August. Involved in developing earthquake building codes and guidelines for the City and preparing reference materials for building inspectors and engineers. So far so good.... Have my own room too~

Saturday was crazy. Gathered w/ 1st year brothers and played Goldfish Eyes on Super Famicom in teams. It was incredibly fun.

Don't know what to write these days. Would someone please enlighten me with ideas...

This Friday evening, our church fellowship will be hosting a coffee house, which is an open-house gathering. It will be a perfect opportunity to make friends and have some fun. There will be games, music, sharing, and tons more. Everyone is invited. Just give me a shout if you're interested, and I'll provide you with the details.

Don't feel intimidated thinking that you wouldn't know anyone there. I will easily be able to bridge you with the rest. So those of you who want to come hang out, don't hesitate to sign up with me!

Haven't updated in ages.

Recently addicted to this song of Leo Ku's called "God/Goddess of Love"... I used to not like him, until he returned with the most recent album. He has abandoned his unpopular (at least in my view) articulation (which used to be remarkably similar to Alan Tam's accent) and developed a style of his own. Further, his breath control seems to have improved.

Normally I'm a drinker of black coffee. Even if I feel like having an espresso drink, I'd choose Americano.

Since I discovered the Latte Tuesday thing at Second Cup, I've developed this habit of having a VANILLA BEAN LATTE every Tuesday. It's down from $3 to $2. A highly recommended deal.

Speaking of which... There's a place called Caffe Artigiano on West Pender and Thurlow that beautifies its Lattes by pouring the milk in such a way as to form a leaf-life or feather-like pattern. Also, they give you a generous amount of espresso which makes the drink quite strong. I've been going to this place on an infrequent basis since last August. You should go check out their milk art for yourself...
