... finally...

i now hav weekends off!@!.. ive just been promoted recently to indoor visual merchandiser at H&M Bloor, and now im at a steady schedule of 8-5 monday-friday.  right now we're in the process of completing the Spring seaon-start for 2005... and its been headache after headache of problems.  im really looking forward to the 18th, when this whole process will be over and done with... wish me luck guys!

this weekend is just pure lounging around.  yesterday i was at home for most of the day... one of my good friends called me and asked if i wanted to go out for dinner.. so we went to my favorite restaurant downtown, Spring Rolls.  today is another day of nothingness... been watching a marathon of the show "NewlyWeds" on channel 30.. i really love Nick and Jessica... hehe.

for the past couple of nights, ive been really thinking about my future and what i should do with my life within the next couple of years.  as much as i love Toronto, i think it's about time for me to move on for awhile and get a change of pace and environment.. a chance to experience complete independency.. a new start... so ive created a list of places that im considering to help me fullfill this desire... give me your opinions and tell me what u think:

1) Montreal, Quebec:  its my hometown... a city thats close to my heart... nightlife is great... could get a store transfer when they open the market there... cost of living is a lil cheaper... and i also hav some family there to support if anything...  disadvantage: french...

2) Vancouver, BC:  my good friend cris and i had a plan to move to vancouver for a change of ennvironment... new city=new start... im still in canada..  could also get a store transfer when the market opens...  

3)California:  ive always wanted to move to california... nice weather.. different pace and environment... my bestfriend Tina had told me the other day about her parents giving us a two bedroom townhouse appartment in San Diego if we do decide to move down... disadvantage: immigration policies?.. could end up taking a while even just to get a workers permit...

iono what to do guys.. pleeez help me out!   

DESIRE FOR THIS WEEK:  an IPOD Shuffle... i want i want i want...

GOAL FOR TODAY:  clean my room... its a mess!

... i cant believe how f**king cold it is... one of the things that i hate about Toronto - WINTER!! boooooooooooooooo.......  it was such a trek goin to work this morning, the snow just kept on falling... and to make it even worse.. it was friggin windy... gaawwd...  =T 

the next few weeks will be stress at work.. the spring season start is happening very soon.. so it'll mean a lot of planning in regards to wall changes, department placements, etc.... a big store FLIP!  lookin forward to that...

..i just finished watching "White Chicks".. gawd that movie is hilarious!  i couldnt stop laughing... i could watch it over and over again and still laugh... 

okey im jettin.. gonna watch "Raising Helen"...  talk to y'allz lata......

yes yes.. i have finally returned to the world of xanga.. after a period of neglect and care, ive finally come to my senses and vow to write a blog everyweek... well.. the reason why i left is because my xanga premium ran out and i was feelin lazy to fix it all up... bleh...

i cant believe that 2004 is really over... the year just flew by so fast.  i was lookin over some of my previous blogs that i wrote during the past year.. and yes, a lot of things happend during 2004.  it was a year of new beginnings.. a new job, a new outlook on life, new interests, new friends, new memories.. it was definitely a year of  independence for me.

                      ... and the highlight of my year... Nina Suplada!

taking on this alter-ego and performing in front of a crowd is definitely a rush.  a lot of time and effort has been put to making Nina Suplada and her soul-sisters, Isa Skandalosa and Malandi Moore a success and i thank eveyone who's supported and been there through and through. 

i wonder what 2005 will bring.. perhaps a promotion? a raise?  a new car?  a new place?... hopefully 2005 will bring me more joy, happiness, and prosperity than 2004.  to everyone.. Happy New Year.. i wish u all the best in 2005.

WOOOOOAAAAAHHHH... havent written in here for awhile i see... sorry boiz n gerlz... ive juz been purdy busy lately with work n shiet.  but yea... i should make more of an effort to write in here more often. 

so yea... nuthin exciting yet as been happening in my life... juz the same ol, same ol.  actually.. i juz found out today that ive been named a "mentor" for H&M... me, along with 10 other associates, will be training about 175 new employees for the four new stores that are opening up in the Toronto area. so it's a real honour and priviledge to be chosen as a mentor... my work is definitely being recognized.  now im juz waiting to see what happens with me when these four new stores open... hopefully i'll get that gawddayam VISUAL MERCHANDISER position that ive been working my ASS off for a hella long time!!!  hahaha... i think im juz one step closer to getting the position... please PRAY for meeeeee!!!

today is my day off... sumthin that ive been craving for awhile... and yes.. i think that if i worked today,  i prolly wouldve passed out on the job.  im very very fatigued... H&M was busy for a monday... n i dont kno what it is that made me this tired... but i totally feel like crap.  actually... thats all ive been feeling lately...  

after work yesterday... i had the urge to go downtown and do a lil shopping... so i went to Buffalo and bought a hot denim jacket and some jeans to match.  we got some new dress shirts yesterday at H&M... these shirts came in white, a dark blue, and this pink that i absolutely love.. so i went back to Fairview to buy the pink version of this dress shirt.  but as i was goin home last nite... it dawned to me how much money ive been spending lately... i hav this crazzy credit card debt that i gotta pay off, i hav missed payments on some of my bills... and what the hell am i doing shopping for myself? im literally living off paycheck to paycheck.  so ive decided to set a few goals for myself to get my finances back on track: 

   1.  payoff my credit debt by the summer - i juz hav a couple of hundred to pay off...

   2.  put in at least $200 from every paycheck into some form of savings - cuz as of right now, i hav no savings at all... like i said... im living from paycheck-to-paycheck.

   3.  limit my spending habits - ive decided to spend about $100 or less within the span of two weeks; from one paycheck to the next...

so what else is new?? 

well... ive decided that i needed a bit of a change when i comes to my hair... so im doing this faux-hawk business that every trendy gay male seems to be doing these days... n i must say.... i LIKE it!!  its a lil different from what im used to... but a lot of people hav been saying that it's cute n it's sooo meee.

at H&M, ive been givin the responsibility of visual merchandising the men's department by my department manager... n im very happy!  it's sumthin that i'm working towards... i want to become a Visual Merchandiser for H&M Eaton Center in the fall.. n ive been working my ass off to obtain that goal.  the visuals at my store have been taking me under their wings... showing me the tricks of the visual trade and teaching me H&M's visual merchandising standards.  i've started a portfolio... taking pictures of the work ive done... and when it comes time for the interviews, hopefully it'll impress the officials.  i really appreciate the support they've been giving me... so hopefully i'll get the position soon!

i bought Janet's latest cd, Damita Jo... n im soo luvin it.  it's such a change from her All For You cd.. where now it's a lil more RnBish and consistant.  i love every song in the cd... sumthin that never usually happens with me...

oh!  the Britney Spears concert was amazing!  she is truly a performer... i especially luved the segment of the concert where she wore that sequence dress, pretending to "self gratify" herself in a bathtub to her song "Touch of my hand" (i think that's the title of the song)... but yea, loved every moment of it... really wasnt suitable for lil kids...

and i kno this is a xanga no-no... but i also joined Live Journal... which will hav exactly everything that i wrote on here.... hahah... =X
