| junior year...almost done with my junior year at UT! it's crazy how these three years passed by so quickly. i'm already getting nervous about applying to optometry schools and life after undergrad, but i shouldn't be b/c i have one more final left to take today...that i should be studying for
i shall write a longer entry 'bout whatnots sometime after that last final is done. there's so many things to know for botany! at least it's interesting...but what's the point of memorizing ~30 scientific names of some plant species? if i remember any after the test, i guess it could be a good conversation starter later on haha

| It's interesting how you feel the most lonely not when you're by yourself but when you're with a group of "friends."
I swear that:
a) Either I'm becoming more anti-social or
b) I don't really know who my friends are anymore.
I am not going to apologize for this slightly depressing post or
emotion. Everyone puts up a front and I'm putting mine down for a bit. | | |
| you say goodbye and i say hellohello hello i don't know why you say goodbye, i say hello
i remember two dreams from last night/early this morning.
1) in the first one that i remember, jonathan and i were in korea at a restaurant and i was attempting to speak korean to the waitress and cashier. my speaking was totally jumbled and awkward and the ladies couldn't really understand me. then out of nowhere, jonathan speaks basic, but good, korean and the ladies totally understand him! i remember feeling sad and embarrassed. 2) in the second one, i was shopping, mostly looking around, in a high-end department store or boutique. george clooney, for some reason, was also in the store. the ladies who worked there were being apathetic towards me, at best, but when i went up to one of them to purchase something, she was being outright rude and condescending. i was feeling indignant, confused, and little bit saddened. i was just about to give up trying to shop at the place when george clooney fills a bag with stuff, hands it over to me, pays for it, smiles, and walks off. the employee ladies are eyes-bulging-out-of-head-shocked. i smile and walk off with my bunch of free things.
yeah...i have no idea why i had those dreams but the second one was pretty awesome. i don't even like george clooney all that much but the looks i saw on the faces of those ladies were priceless. ah, dreams.
i miss going to downtown austin...not for the party/club scene, mind you, but for the comedy club, concerts, and the chance to make fun of drunk people.
i should really continue writing my architecture paper. i'm researching and writing about how the Byzantines used mosaics in the church, San Vitale. if you have time, you should google image search "San Vitale" and take a peek at those gorgeous mosaics. i would really like to start taking up some mosaic-making one day...some day.

| it's not a tone or a voicehahaha i just noticed that my last entry was "private." tsk tsk silly me.
i have been working on this architecture paper for 3 days now...a 5-6 page paper. it shouldn't take this long to write this. how is it that i can write a 9 page physiology lab protocol in 2 days but not a short architecture paper over the Baths of Caracalla in 2 days?
stopped by petco earlier tonight. the hamsters/rats/mice were going crazy on those wheels, man. until then, i've never seen such active rodents in my life.
i'm looking forward to spring break. i can finally rest for a little bit

| haven't written here for a long timeYesterday, Jonathan farted in the quiet and echo-y architecture library several times while we were researching ancient Roman architecture.
Be Kind, Rewind was a pretty funny movie. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. Walking around 6th street and the surrounding areas is always fun...I like looking at all the creepy guys and the bar people trying to coax you into their bars by telling you that there are $1/$2 wells. There are a good number of older people on 6th before 10 PM. I was surprised I guess all the college students don't come out until after then.
I want to get a hat I can wear often/daily. Since I wear glasses 99% of the time, I can't use my sunglasses anymore, so I always shield my eyes with my hands. A hat would be very useful...however, since I shower in the morning and I don't have a hairdryer, I wouldn't be able to wear a hat when I walk to class b/c my hair would still be wet. Jonathan and I went into that hat store near 6th and tried on a lot of hats. Good times!
Also, it was great hanging out with the roomies on Friday. Hula Hut + Chillaxing on the couch = very good for me
2 out of my 3 classes on Thursday are canceled this week! But I still have my one discussion section on Friday...but Spring break starts at the end of this week! whooooooo!
Did I mention that Jonathan passed gas in the echo-y architecure library yesterday?
