| My birthdayThank you everyone for one ass-kicking birthday weekend.... I felt really special....
I realize at the age of 23, the responsibilities of an adult becomes much more visible. Its time to get serious and stop being naive about life. Learning how to deal, is probably the one single most impoartant thing i have learned last year. It has made many many situations tolerable, and made me a little less neurotic. I can feel the pressure of living a meaningful life, but i am not afraid of the challege.
Choosing my path, is choosing my destiny.

| so... i decided to come out of hypernation of this winter, because warm weather is a week away... literally! i am not a big fan of cold weather, so this past few months have been absolutely miserable. I HATE SNOW, i have officially seen waaay too fucking much snow this season.
going to miami in two weeks, my annual migration to the south. and i am making this a tradition!!!!
as a celebration of my birthday, my season, my weather, and my adulthood, THIS IS WHAT I AM AWARDING MYSELF WITH!!!!!!!

| thanksgivinga time to be thankful. this year i suddenly realized why i am so happy and content after college. aside from having a good job, a place to live, and great friends. i am for the very first time complete independent, both mentally and financially. i feel free, i am ready to fly. my wounds are slowly healing, as i get more and more away from my parents. i love them very much, but they have caused more damage and pain to me and my life, than they or anyone else would ever realize. i don't blame, i am dealing...
i am thankful, even more so now than i ever did. i am a lucky person, my life was a gift to me, things will only get better now...

| rand construction and gensler architectural design had a happy hour event
together in DC. the designer of the space was giving a lecture type of
talk about the design. my phone rings in the middle of her talk, everyone turns
around looking at me, as i get through all the chairs and tables
between my phone and i. a obstacle course to begin with, as i stumble
through everything, almost to my phone. my heel got stuck in one of
the chair legs, and I FELL ON MY FACE in front of all my coworkers, and
the architects that we work with..... just imagining a tall lengthy
thing, fall flat on the floor.....as for what happened right after... i
have no idea... (blooooocking it out....)...i def made a scene again....
my director called me Miss Congeniality.... haha | | |
| halloweenhalloween was fun. saw some really good customs actually, grownups are quite creative. hahaha. it is a good thing that our boring tedious working lives haven't killed our spirits. keep on guys, keep on.
so the idea of my halloween custom came to me one day while watching tv. its one of those lightbulb moments. hehe, i can't stop laughing.
(i don't know wat happen to mish there...... hahahaha I lOVE U!)
