| This is pretty sad. The last time I updated was before school let out, and now school's back in swing. Over the summer I really just worked, nothing exciting there. I did get to go to Colorado once, but other than that, it was fairly uneventful, but still much too short. A lot has happened, but all in all this is looking to be a very tough year. I've got hard classes and a lot of work to do, like the fact that I should be doing a project for Devoe right now.... nah. We had our first football game Friday night, and well, the good news is that we're not going to get any worse:) No, the freshman are doing really good and now that the first game butterflies are gone, things should get easier. We've got a long way to go, but we'll get there. Choir is fun, as normal. My classes are hell, but I'll get by. The good news is that next year I'll have a lot of extra time on my hands, as I'm getting the tough stuff out of the way now. It's just going to take a lot of work. We'll see how it all works out. For now though, I've got to get that project done:) -Robin | | |
| Wow, I haven't updated in a long time. It's about time I should, but
it's late and I'm too tired to write any more than this. School's
almost out! Yay for summer jobs! Night,

| Well, spring break is almost over, and I wish school would just end. It was a pretty good break from school; I went to Colorado with my Dad and sister on Wednesday and came back yesterday. We mainly went to see my mom, but also got to see some friends of the family too. We tried to go up into the mountains and do some fishing and hiking, but it's still too cold up there (the lake was completely frozen over), and they're supposed to be having the biggest storm of all winter right now. It was pretty fun though, and I'm going to see if this summer Alyse could come with me to visit Garden of the Gods and such, that would be a much more fun trip than seeing a frozen lake:) My mom's doing alright for herself, she's starting her new job travelling and selling vitamins soon, so she should be getting along well soon. I'm really not wanting school to start, I'm supposed to be doing homework right now, but I'm really just going to procrastinate and laze around. Oh well, only what, two more months? At least my friends make school fun.
Thursday was Alyse's and my sixth month annaversary, I love her so much:)

| Battle of the Bands was yesterday, and Torgo! did great. Blake's really a crowd worker, let me tell you. Alyse and I only stayed for them and the next band, so we didn't get to see all the competition, but they still kicked butt. Great job guys!
Well, lets see... Last weekend was the choir garage sale, and we did really well. We mad over 350 dollars selling washers and dryers, so now I've got my choir trip payed for. The band one's another thing completely, as I only have about 45 dollars in there when I'm supposed to have 350... We'll just wait to see how that turns out:) Things have been good otherwise; I'm doing well at school and at home. Next week I've got a full-orchestra concert, and might go see a jazz vocal group called impact at the new performing arts center. At least after next week I don't think I'll have to be up at school at 7:30 any more. That'll be nice. I just can't wait till spring break. Next week is going to suck though; teachers will give out a ton of homework. Who knows... at least we have a week to do it:)
I'm gonna go get out the guitar and laze around. Have a great weekend everyone, see ya soon.

| Alright already, I'll update! lol, I tried a few days ago, but my computer froze and I didn't feel like typing the whole thing again, so I didn't. It really has been a while though. My birthday was on the twentieth of January, and I must say it was probably the best birthday I've ever had. Jashmin called me at midnight, and Alyse early in t he morning. It really was a great day. I had a small family party that night, then Alyse and I went out for a great dinner at Sakura, where we had a mute, but good chef. Then she took me to Roasters where she gave me a framed poster called The Journey, by Greg Rubottom. It really seems to speak to me, partly because it seems to describe me, and because, to me, it shows that this is only the beginning of our journey together. It's an endless path, one that only ends in you stop believing it can reach beyond the clouds. Love you babe. Thanks for a beautiful birthday.
I'm loving these sixteen years, thanks to all my friends who make them worth getting up every day. Thanks, my friends. - Robin Ash | | |
