| oooh saw Julia Stiles on the street today.....at first, I thought it wasn't her due to all the makeup she had on but when I heard her talking to a friend and yup, that's her since her voice is so distinct. |

| Nursing Clinical Day 6My patient today was an elderly woman who spoke limited English and mostly Creole/French. Despite the language barrier, we communicated with each other through eye contact, hand gestures and touch. It was actually my first time taking care of a geriatric patient since all my other patients had been young and middle aged. I'm so glad she's doing so well after a masectotomy and hope she gets better soon. |

| Nursing Clinical Day 5I gave the first bath today. Well, it was sort of like a partial bath since we cleaned only the bottom area. I felt so bad when the patient started to cry while we were cleaning him. I think he just felt so powerless and angry at himself for not being able to do anything.
Otherwise, time flies by when you have more work to do =) |
