| I wrote letters the other night... real, old-fashioned, hand-written, snail-mail letters. It was fun. I also found a really good song, "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. It's a sentimental song about a father's love for his daughter. | | |
| At the quiz meet this weekend our team got first place! It was very very wonderful; we had a couple quizzes where all three of us girls quizzed out. Steph got 6th, which is the highest she's ever gotten, so that was really exciting  And on the way back, David, Nathan and I discovered a fun new car game to play -- historical 20 questions... we were getting bored of 20 questions, because it was too broad, but when we changed to history, it was a lot more fun. | | |
| I've decided Halloween is scary... it's really weird to walk around a place that's supposed to be full of 'adults' and half of them are dressed up for Halloween... unfortunately, I had class that day, so I had to go to school... it felt weird...
But we did go see Dreamer, which was actually pretty good; even though it was about horse racing, it was still more about the people than the horse, so I liked it. Plus Dakota Fanning is really cute... | | |
| so today in class, we watched Shrek...
I love my college
The first day I discovered that I totally do not fit in for three reasons:
1) I don't smoke
2) I don't have any piercings except my ears, and then only once
3) I don't have a kid
but then I decided so what if I don't fit in... I'm going to enjoy the experience anyway. But it would be nice if people wouldn't smoke everywhere on campus... it makes it really hard to breathe. | | |
