| | Ok, I don't have alot of time because I'm leaving to pick up my mom in Spokane. (I hate this thing...I had this whole post typed up and then lost it :) But...I just want to encourage ya'll not to take anything for granted! At the beginning of this week, my biggest worry was my finals...by the end, that was the least of my worries. (They did go well...well, at least I did the best I could :) I finished my finals and went up to Spokane with a friend for a couple of days. Wednesday morning I called my grandma to see how some test went for my grandpa. She told me he needed a triple by-pass. They ended up doing the surgery this past Thursday. It all went very well!! My grandpa went home yesterday and I talked to him today. Praise God that everything went well!!! My mom was already down South with my sister to get her liscence. My mom stayed and my sister came on home. On our way to pick up Gentry from the airport, I was in a big car accident. (I wasn't driving and it wasn't the fault of the girl who was.) After the shock of the accident wore off, I realized how blessed I was to just be standing here. The weirdest part of the whole accident was I could feel another presence in the car. Even though the whole car was getting torn up, I knew nothing was going to happen to us. God is awesome! Nobody was hurt and God reminded me once again how ill-equipped I am to "run" my own life. God is in control!! That is such a comforting thought, when you think about how you do not have power over whether or not you are standing here. My life could have been taken, but for some reason God didn't take it. I'm glad He is letting me live :) But, remember that He is in control! |
