i only wish i painted this. it's a mountain in dallas that i go to to get away from the city,

the cafeteria food at cfni and all it's really good for.

the guys and girls went to the grocery store late and had a blast. chad on the left and caleb on the right.

i am loving school and can't wait to go back, god willing!

"you can know there is something special right away.. but love is too nebulous a concept to pin down to "at first sight." Most people use the word for NASCAR and burgers.. which leads me to believe that "love" is something we are failing to articulate correctly.. something we use when we mean like, care for, and enjoy. Thus, I don't think you can fall in love at first sight, but you certainly can fall into stunned and amazed."

i just wanted to see if i could sit on it. (Ha) my legs were shaking because i was trying to make it look like i was really sitting there.

i don't have anything interesting to say really..

some harsh realities that have come my way (some not so harsh, but hard to believe realities.) ::

i graduate in a month and a half.

this is my last summer before college life.

car insurance is expensive.

sunburn, in fact, hurts.

my fish's name really is turtle.

Jesus is grood. i mean good....and great. great and good.

i went to cast and caught a big one! if you look close you can see my mom's yellow hook in her shirt. i hooked my own mom from behind!

then i really DID catch a fish. i was pulling it in here. my rod is bending a lot

we didn't have a stringer so he was kept in this little pool of water

don't be fooled--he's not dead actually. he was alive the whole time!

I am not one for change--if you know me well, you know this already. I don't like good things to end. In fact even if i do have something  to look forward too, i dread leaving a special event, etc. I would think this to be normal for most. Coming home from a funeral of a very dear coach of mine put an image in my head of him dancing and praising Jesus forever, whom he only accepted a few days before his passing.  I thought : "I think i shall like Heaven."  There's no end...it's forever. This is so hard for me to fathom-the human mind can't fathom forever because nothing we have ever owned, no one we have ever known and nothing that ever happens lasts forever. We don't know this "forever" word. Kind of gives me the shivers to think about something not having and ending. But I'm pretty sure (sarcasm of course) that i can trust that Heaven will be that wonderful and perfect, with no ending and perfect joy.
