Ok so I'm only reading it because it was a required for a class. Once I saw the book list for this class I literally groaned outload. As a student in seminary one of the last things that I wanted to read was a pop book on spirituality that tells you how to get what you want. Yet, these ideas just came from the book's title and after seeing it litter Wal-Mart shelves for the past year. Of course I neglected reading this book until the last possible week I could. Yet, this book is amazing. Now I understand why it is so popular! I'm not saying that this book is the best I've ever read, but it is probably in the top 10. Ortberg's idea that the entire goal of a Christian's spiritual life (or all of life), is simply transformation is origional analytical reflection on timeless spiritual truths. His premise that the spiritual disciplines are simply ways of practicing so&nbsp; that we can bear the Fruits of the Spirit in life is likewise refreshing. I highly recomend checking this book out.

Friday, February 01, 2008

Xanga is a verb!

Neglect...

Wow, I haven't written anything on here for quite awhile...<br>

Friday, October 06, 2006

My girlfriend and I have been reading this book,&nbsp;Passion and Purity together.
