Hey Blair!!! Srry, I haven't been  commenting much. Uuummm...my bro had just got a call from a friend of his sayin if he wanted to play piano in the jazz band b/c the original one had quit. Well, u r prolly sayin rite now wut does this have to do w/ me. Okay this is y, I've started piano in Preskool and quit in 2nd grade b/c my mom got sick then I went bak in 4th or 5th and quit again b/c I was too involved w/ skool activities sssssooooo...NOW I'm bak into piano and ever since I decided tht I wanted to play in the jazz band. B/c of this, I've worked my BUTT OFF tryin to get good enuff to b in the jazz band. Yep, thtz the story. Ur prolly thinkin ookkkkaaayyyyy Amy u r just WEIRD!!! Lol.

Anyhoo, it seems like fun goin to this band camp!! All of the songs sound like they're REALLY REALLY good pieces. Well, I hope u have a fun rest of the summer and I'll talk to you later. Bi!

ok then blair....let's see, at least having a rigid schedule is a little better than just kinda doing school whenever, which includes DURING the summer, which i am sure YOU have had to experience before, and which I have not had to experience since my public school days, so there's ONE of the many advantages of school. one reason that i felt that i had just left school was b/c i had summer school for 3 weeks taking computer applications, a required class that I was not able to fit into my schedule for this next year b/c i am taking so many advanced classes that I most likey would not have the oppurtunity to take were I still homeschooled.  I also have the wonderful oppurtunity to take extracurricular activities such as musical theater, drama and adv. chorus, all of these courses which are going to look quite impressive on my resume, along with my AP(advanced placement) courses, my AP exam grades, and not to mention the many clubs and other activities that I have been able to enjoy b/c of my public high school career.  There have been so many oppurtunites layed out for me b/c i decided to go to high school. at the moment, i might sound like i am contradicting my entry on my xanga, but i was simply putting forth feelings that about 99.9% of the world of pulic high schoolers feel when going back to school.  i'm sorry, but even when i homeschooled, school was not the most enjoyable thing. i am in no way coming down on homeschooling b/c i enjoyed my own homeschooling years, but we both know that the elementary and even middle school years (esp. in homeschoolong) and not hard at all.  you might think that school is challeneging, or you might not, but i'll tell you that high school is HARDBALL. it's serious, and there is pressure from every corner to do well and have an impressive resume and take all the AP courses and be in every club and activitiy possible, b/c that is the only way that you well ever get into a good college.  so that's what i'm talking about.  it's very stressful, ( so i guess you just haven't felt any stress yet since your telliing me that i need to homeschool) but i wouldn't trade it for homeschoolong after all i've done and accomplished since i came to public high school.  by the time i am finished with my high school career, i hope to have a very good sense of accomplishment and know that I have the best choices of colleges and that they are eqaully interested in me, which i must say probably wouldn't happen to the same extent had i continued to homeschooled (which don't get me wrong, i liked homeschooling, and daniel and i put out a very good name for homeschoolers and the school, and there are def. tons of homsechoolers and go very far and do great things and get tons of oppurtunities, so don't take me for saying that homeschooling does you no good, it does, if you apply yourself, as you have to do in public school) so please blair, don't tell me that i should have homeschooled. i really cant take that anymore.  if you think it's a bad idea that i went to school, then ok, but you don't have to tell me.
