Wow. I just saw this on my news ticker: Stingray Kills 'Crocodile Hunter' Irwin. Get this...he was killed by a stingray while shooting a series called "Ocean Deadliest". (how appropriate) He came on top of the stingray and the stingray's barb went up and into his chest and put a hole into his heart.

So I've been at my grandparents' house all weekend hangin out with my cousins. And now I'm just enjoying this day off by going to a republican rally at the state park (with my cousins).

I'm taking a class at the college: Spanish 101. I love it so much!!! Our teacher is the best! She's really fun which makes the class enjoyable. Band is doing well. We march out on the field on Friday for the first time. We did ok...like I said, it was our first time.

Well anyway, I'll have to write some more later. I have to go get ready or else I'll be going to this rally lookin like a zombie.

UPDATE:

Just got back from the orthodontist. I got a power chain and SPRINGS. ooooo....ahhhh.

We had a fun vacation...about a week ago. I wrote a whole post and I was going to add pictures and post them on here...but it got deleted. (The wonderful world of xanga, eh?) Well anyway, we went to TN and went hiking, white water rafting, and ate dinner at the dixie stampede (a dinner and a show place). That place was really cool, the white water rafting was the best part of the trip, and the hiking was...long and hard. It was still fun though. Then we came home. Oh and I forgot to say that we started our vacation off with going to see my FIRST LIVE BASEBALL GAME!!!! Isn't that SAD???

Well, I've been doing absolutely NOTHING for the past few days and it's about to drive me bonkers (woah, weird word)!!!...welll maybe not, but I feel myself getting fatter by the minute.

BAND CAMP STARTS ON MONDAY: I just can't wait to stand out in the blazing sun for two hours and play rubberband man. It's going to be a blast! But I am excited on the other hand cuz my dad is going to be directing it! So far we're going to be playing (as I already said) Rubberband Man , Respect (find out what it means to me), Raiders March (from Raiders of the Lost Ark), Cupid, Celabration(...maybe), Aztec Fire, annnnd, Love Train.

Y'all like my new picture?! lol

Uh, I'm so ready for things to start happening. Debate, band, music contests!! Even if school has to come with it. There's not much to do except swim and get on the computer. Hip-hip-hip horrah... I like the swimming part but that's only two hours a day.

On a more cheerful note: SST won TVC! wahoo! Yess! I had a feeling we were going to win.

Yo! I've been on myspace for a while and I forgot to update...forgive me. Well our swim meets are almost over for the summer. That makes me so mad! We have one meet left...the one that counts. It's the TVC championship. All of the teams in our disrict compete against each other for either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. We've gotten 1st for three years in a row and if we don't win I'm betting that our coach is either going to have a heart attack or work our tushes off (I'll be looking forward to that one.)

We had Mara and Alex spend the night on Tuesday and we had a lot of fun! We watched the pink panther and stayed up late talking, eating, and playing...you guessed it: MASH. Then we got up and watched the box, ate breakfast, and made cookies. I think it took us all day to make them. lol We played truth or dare and that was soooo much fun! We came up with some pretty good dares, too. lol

I've gotta go now!

Well, we got back from the beach on Monday. It was really fun! We got to go to Big Kahuna's, too! There was this one slide that Brooke and I went on about 5 times. lol We got on a double intertube (I got to be in the front! ) then we went down this tube that was pitch black and then it had little holes in the side so there was a little bit of light and then it went dark again and then it opened up (like the top part of the tube was taken off) and then it went dark again...etc. lol But the whole time it felt like we were going to flip over. It was so fun!!

So anyway, we had the swim meet last night against Jasper annnnnnddd....we lost. ....by 8 points!!! Uhh! That means if just one more of our swimmers had gotten 1st place we could've won. The lady that kind of runs all of the scores for our meets said she's going to look at the numbers on that because she thinks we actually won. lol

WBD'S WERE ACTUALLY IN IRAQ?!?!? I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT. But of course it was only 500 of them. I mean, you couldn't even kill an ant with 500 WMD's. Don't be silly!...

Liberals drive me crazy! They ask for justice, we go to war, it's not good enough. They ask that Saddam Hussien (and numerous other terrorists) be captured, he is (they are), it's not good enough. They ask for Weapons of Mass Destruction, we find them, and (what else is new?) it's not good enough. Will these people ever be happy?

These wackos would rather have our nation destroyed than to admit that the war is actually a good thing. It's sad, and it will only get worse if Hillary is in "power".

Hey All.

Well I'm in Florida right now. We drove here yesterday and got here around 9:30. (We watched The Rainmaker on the way. One of the best...it makes all of the lawyers look like weasils. lol It has Matt Damon in it and all I can say is he looked a lot different 9 years ago. I barely recognized him.) My cousin just had a baby a couple of weeks ago so we're going to visit her and see the baby (her husband's in Iraq). And, of course, we get to go to the beach today! And I'm pretty sure we're going to go to Big Kahuna's (I think I spelled that correctly.) tomorrow!!!! I can't wait! That is the most fun place I've ever been!

We have the Big Meet on Tuesday! Our swim coach is sure that we're going to lose. If he keeps saying that then we are going to lose. Everybody's going to say "Well what's the point of swimming hard if we're just going to lose?" Our team hasn't lost a swim meet in three years so Mr. Mills (our coach) is all stressed out.

I might edit a poll in later, but I can't think of anything right now.

I just took the ACT today. Oh man...I'm worn out. There were a lot of problems I didn't know. I was pretty surprised...I mean, I thought I knew everything! All of my dreams have been shattered. lol I'll probably get a 10 or something along those lines.

The Summer Swim Meets have started!!!!! Yessss!! I love them! On Thursday I beat all of my times and got the best time on the 50 free I've ever gotten! I was so excited...and the time isn't even all that good, but I'm just naturally slow. It's a talent I guess. I was just born with the ability.

Well I went to the allergist yesterday and got 25 shots (literally) ...only to find out that I'm not allergic to anything. So that was just wonderful. The doctor said odors (i.e. flowers, perfumes, etc.) "irritate" my nose. He also said he would've made me the poster child for allergies and he couldn't believe I wasn't allergic to anything. So now I look like a druggie with all of these needle marks in my arm. lol

Well let's see...Oh I don't have to take that 7:30 class this summer! We didn't realize that my tuition wasn't going to be free (because I'm less than a Jr.) so they were going to charge us over $500 just for a 20 day class. So we decided to drop the class. yessss!

Ok I really want to do a poll because I haven't done one in a looonnnng time. Just let me think of something....

Hey Y'all. We had the Cornerstone Speech and Debate Orientation last night! It went pretty well. We had quite a few people tell us they were going to come, but most of them didn't show up. But even without them we had a very good number of people there, considering we're just starting the club! I thought I would never have to debate about medical malpractice again, but I guess I was wrong. I did a mini debate round to show people how debate works. I was partnered with Reeves and we were against Ragan and Tabby. lol It was pretty fun.

I'm so glad we don't have to do anything else now because I really want to start swimming more! I'm so out of shape and the meets are about to start!!! I'm going to be so embarrassed when I get a 36 on a 50 free. Oh dear...

Ladies and Gentlemen! I'm about to do something I've never done in my entire lifetime!!
