I was at the mall, walking by the Apple Store, overheard this convo:

Kid (max. 7 years old) stopped in front:
pa! I want an iPhone.
They look so cool!

Instead of smacking that kid in the head
(which is what i would do)
the Dad just looked kinda frustrated and tried to pull her away.
I am sure if she nags for another 15 mins,
he would just buy it to shut her up.

i am sure everyone has a few of her/his own.

but here are some of mine --

1. You are such a quiet person, you must not like to exercise at all.

hold on a sec, what does talking have to do with exercising??

maybe i just dont wanna talk to you.
i love everything outdoor!

roller blading, jogging, golfing, swimming (indoor, this is.)

i dont know why asians just give out that nerdy vibe that all they do is sitting in front of their PCs,

they do not eat/drink/talk and the only thing moving are their hands fingers.

.......fine, i am like that at work,

but i do like playing sports!

2. Let's go to the beach and sun bath! i figure you'd like coz you are so tan.
this is interesting, another coworker said this, totally contrary to what Coworker # 1 thinks.

well, being tan is not my choice.
i look like i have lived in hawaii for my life from standing under the sun for 20 minutes.

by the way, this reminds me i need to find those japanese-women-hand-gloves-thingy to cover my arms while driving....
anyway no thanks, i do not want to go to the beach

3. do you eat? (variations include any sentence with the word "diet" in sarcastic/bitter tone)
ice cream and gelato are the the staples of my diet (or is it a diet?)
currently in search of the best veggie burger in town:)

4. Hey, what does moo shu means? (or any other weird chinese food names)
