Wow kiddies it's been a real long time since I've posted. I'll try to be a little more consistant. Though I can't promise y'all anything. YAY!!! The smileys work! Let's hope they continue to work. So the weather lately has been cloudy and cold. It's that time of year. And speaking of "that time of the year", it's also the time for dry skin and boy are my hands dry! Like all cracked and stuff dry. So I'm using lotion like a crazy women. And it still isn't really helping! It's supposed to snow this week. I guess that's ok though I'm not all that thrilled about winter. Don't get me wrong, I love snow. I just don't like being out in a snow storm or anything like that. Nothing really major happened since my last post. Classes, homework, the usual nothingness after classes. This past Friday while I was at Crossfire I was outside and this drunk guy started like kinda hitting on me. It was kinda scary. Though it was funny and kind of flattering that I was being hit on but still he was a 40 year old drunk man so it was a tad bit freaking. Thankfully he didn't do anything, he just talked to me. Then Sunday the gospel choir that I'm in sang at a church in the area. That was a lot of fun. I really did miss being in a choir and doing concerts and what not. Then my Grandma and my aunt came to see me and they took me out to eat. I got to eat good food for a change! So that was all good. Today I only had 2 classes. I went to ERS and we talked about Cuba. Then I skipped Astronomy because I had to work on my R&M test that was due today. Then Philosophy was cancelled. So then I only had to go R&M. That was a shorter class today. Hello all. I haven't posted in a while but I haven't really been busy, just lazy I suppose. Nothing really major happened since last Tuesday. Class and then the usual nothing. On Wednesday Bible Study was held at the leaders' house and we had tacos. That was fun. Thursday was CRU. Wednesday night and Thursday weren't good times. I talked a lot with people Thursday night and that really helped. I'm really glad that I have good friends are always there for me. yep. The smileys aren't working yet again. This is really starting to grate my cheese. GRR. Thursday was also a counceling time. Friday in Philosophy it was someone's birthday so we got a bunch of candy. And the teacher kept complaining about this weird smell in the room. She said it smelled like something sugary that was burning. But I guess she wasn't going nuts because some of my classmates also smelled it, however I didn't. Then I went to Crossfire Friday night. I played ping pong. It was fun, except that I hurt my leg. I think I like pulled something or something. yeah. Or I'm just seriously out of shape but I don't think that's it. Saturday I tried to read for my classes but fell asleep. Then I was going to take a nap but as soon as I put my homework away I wasn't tired anymore. Go figure. So I played some games on my computer. Today i went to church and they gave us food. It was a luncheon for college students and it was free. I like free food. Somehow whatever food it is tastes 100 times better when it's free. Then I played some more computer games and went to choir practice. We have a concert next sunday. But we know what we're doing, so it's all good. I love singing. Being in a choir is so fun. Hello all. It was kind of cold today but alright. Yesterday I had 4 classes. ERS: started talking about Hispanic Americans. Astronomy: more about light and stuff. Philosophy: talked about W.E.B. DuBois and stuff. R&M: more on gender, sexuality, and spirituality. Then I did not all that much the rest of monday. At about 9 or so I watched a basketball game. That was fun. Then i did more of nothing. yeah. Today I had College Writing. We talked about the chapter for today and i fell asleep. I tried to stay awake but I was really, really sleepy. But as soon as I got out of the class I was fine. Interesting, huh? Boring class. This afternoon I had a doctor appointment and found out that I need more iron. Yay. Not. I don't eat well while I'm in school but that's because the food around here sucks. Meh. I'm gonna get some supplements so it'll be good. So the low iron definitely explains the sleepiness during my classes and feeling fatigued all day. meh. Anywho, that's about it. So I shall see y'all later. Keep on smiling, it keeps the gnomes away. Hello kiddies. I had one crazy weekend. I can't type properly. hee hee. The smileys work again. They need to stop fritzing out so much. Anywho, I haven't offically posted since Thursday so here's what happened: College Writing: talked about the chapter that we were supposed to read. Yeah. Astro Lab: we went the planetarium and then we did this group activity with spectrums and light. That was fun. Friday I had 3 classes. ERS: test. I was the second person out of the room. That test was way easy. I hope my grade will reflect how easy I thought it was. I'll have an A for sure. Astronomy: talked about spectrums and light. Philosophy: The end of the discussion on the Apology. We talked about Socrates's sentencing, which was death. yep. Then at 3 I had a counseling session. That was fun. I was all happy and smiley because I was excited about Friday night. Yep yep. So Friday night I went to a birthday party. We had to where costumes so mine was a Track Star. I had a gold medal made out of a paper clip chain necklace and a piece of paper that i colored with a highlighter. yeah. There was some... ok, A Lot of drink consumption. If'n ya know what kind of drink i mean. yep yep. I was so stumbly. And my coordination was out the window. yeah. It was a blast. Then there was some other stuff. So i got more giggley and stumbly. (does giggley have an e or no?) Like i said, I can't type today. I slept at my friend's house, that's where the party was. Got up at about 9:45 on Saturday and got a ride back to campus. Then i meandered to the dorm, got to my room, changed clothes, and climbed up to bed. Then slept until about 1. My head was freaking out when I got into my bed. That was kinda scary. But then I calmed down and slept. Yesterday I didn't do all that much. My limbs weren't really working yet. Plus I think I'm getting sick. Bleh. I didn't throw up at all this weekend. I was happy. Today I slept until about 2 even though i went to bed at 11 last night. I needed sleep. I feel a little better today but I'm still out of it. that could be from being sick though. i don't know. Another rather large chunk of time since my last entry. I'm so lazy. Oh well. So on Monday I had 4 classes. ERS was a video, Astronomy was... something, Philosophy was even more on the Apology ( we've spent like a whole week on that stupid story!) Grr, my smileys are being stupid again. And in R&M we talked about gender and spirituality. Tuesday was College Writing. I turned in my paper and then we talked about the chapter that was supposed to have been read for that day. Which per usual I didn't do. Meh. We talk about them in class so it's not like it matters anyway. Today I had 3 and a quarter classes. Though really I should just say 3 classes since the last one didn't really count. In ERS we talked about why Asian Americans are called a "model monority". And I learned that we have a test on Friday. I didn't know that so now I'm like "ok, cramming time." yeah. Then in Astronomy there was a laser tag thing concerning light and then there was some zzzz's. Yep. I just can't keep my eyes open in that class. I try but it just doesn't work. I don't know what it is about that class that makes me sleep. It could be because it's in a lecture hall. Lecture halls make me sleepy. Yes, that is probably why. Then there was Philosophy. We are finally done with the Apology!! We talked about Socrates's sentence. Yeah. Then there was R&M. We got our tests back and then that was it. The teacher is all like "if I breath to deeply I'll cough so I'm going to cut this short." It made me happy. It's been cloudy and cold lately. Not a good mood booster but I've been pretty happy anyway. I'm writing again so that's a good thing. I'm just revising an old story of mine though, I haven't started a new one. At 8 there was Bible Study tonight. We got cupcakes and I had 2. They were good. I love cupcakes. I love anything with the word "cake" in it that pertains to food. Yep. Hey kiddies, it's been a while. Thursday I had 2 classes but I only went to one. It was just conferences again in College Writing so I just skipped it. Then it was Astronomy lab. We used this computer program that analyzes the moons of Jupiter to figure out its mass. It was kind of fun. After that I didn't do much. Then there was CRU and then more of nothing till bed. On Friday I had 3 classes. More on Filipinos in ERS, something in Astronomy( I don't remember what), and then more about the Apology in Philosophy. I was feeling really down that entire day. It kinda stank. Later I went to Crossfire with Bethia and filled out an application to be a volunteer there. It's fun there. Yesterday I slept till noon and ate breakfast all late. Then I watched the Sci Fi channel 'cause they had a bunch of horror movies on. It was cool. I did some house work stuff, namely vacuuming. The floor was getting nasty so I just had to vacuum. And today I slept till noon again. I like sleeping late, it's fun. I did laundry today and I studied for my Astronomy midterm tomorrow. But I fell asleep during the studying. So I have to do some more studying before I go to bed. Then I went to VIP. I love singing. We learned some new songs and they are really cool. Well that's about it so... I shall see y'all later. Yay! The smileys work!! Ha ha! That makes me happy. Yesterday was a nice warm day. There wasn't any humid so it was all good. yep yep. I had 1 class yesterday: College Writing. The teacher looked over our rough drafts and that was it. Mine was good, all I have to do is tweek a few things and work on my conclusion. After that Bethia took me driving. So yeah I actually drove for the first time in my life. I didn't do too bad either. Except that I tried parking on the street at the end and I kinda went up on the curb. But then I backed up and did it correctly so it was fine. That was fun but I think I sorta freaked Bethia out a few times because I was too far over. Then after that I did a bunch of nothing until 8 when some people that I met on Facebook came over and watched some Buffy with me. That was fun. The two people are pretty cool, but you have to be cool to watch Buffy so that was a given. I love smileys. Y'all have no idea how happy I am that they're working again. Then again maybe you can see that. ::sheepish look:: meh, s'all good. Today it was cooler but still a nice sunny day. Fall is definitely here now. yep yep. I had my costomary 4 classes today. In ERS we talked about Filipinos. In Astronomy we talked about atoms and such and I fell asleep. In Philosophy it was more about the Apology. We had a senator that "plays with children" and a guy (though it was really a girl) who throws wild parties with booze, drugs, and lots of sex. Yeah, loads of fun is had by all in my Philosophy class. Plus the teacher talked about how she's going to give us arsenic-laced death by chocolate brownies when she's pissed at us. And how our parents won't ask for the death penalty but they'll want to lock her up forever. That class is a hoot. An absolute hoot. And a half I'd even venture to say. Then in R&M we talked about societies that worship ancestors. Yay!, I actually remembered what we did! Are you all proud of me?! You better be. Or I'll electrocute you all with a toaster in your bathtubs. you've been warned. Then I came back here and ate at my 4 o'clock granny time. Then I did nothing and at 8 I went to Bible Study. Yeah. It's been awhile. Wow. Today is warm-ish. And there were lots of bugs out. I hate bugs. They don't scare me, I just hate them. Thursday and Friday of last week I went to my classes and didn't do much else. Friday night I watched Blade: Trinity. It's a good movie. I liked it. Saturday Bethia took me along on this trip to Marshfield to see this thing called the Nightmare with a group called Crossfire. That was an interesting experience. Everyone involved in it made it seem like it was going to be freaky but it wasn't. It was about what happens when you live a life without Christ. So there were some people drinking and then they got into a car crash. Then there was some people doing drugs. Next was some parents fighting and in the next room was a girl with a gun, their daughter, and she kills herself. Then was a tomb where people poked at us with bones and then there was a Hell area. It ended by showing three rooms of what Jesus went through during the Cruxifiction. And that was the end of it. So yeah, interesting experience. Sunday I did some homework and later I went to choir practice. Today I had 4 classes. In ERS we talked more about Japanese Americans. In Astronomy we did this activity where we got put into groups of countries and we had to discuss the issue of the possibiliy of private property in space. It was boring and I didn't like it. But oh well, at least I didn't have to do anything. In Philosophy we talked more about the Apology. In R&M we watched a video about the Aztecs. That was cool. Then I did some homework and I just finished my rough draft for my English paper that is due tomorrow. Yep. I got a package today from my parents so that made me happy. Any mail makes me happy because I never get any. My smileys still aren't working. Is anyone else having that problem or is it just me? meh. I'm hungry but I don't have anything good to eat. grr. Today was cloudy and blah-ish. I had only 3 classes today because Philosophy was cancelled. There was much rejoiceing to be beheld. In ERS we talked more about Japanese Americans and how they were put into internment camps during WW II. Then we watched this video about a Japanese American who refused to go to an internment camp. If I was being told to go to some internment camp I'd refuse too, I don't know about y'all. In Astronomy we talked about orbits and how gravity fits into that. In R&M we handed in our tests then talked about... criminy!, why can't I ever remember what went on in that class?! Yeesh! Anyway there was a video about something too. Then I came back here and did some stuff for College Writing. I had to look up the definition of Stoicism. Yep. Then I did nothing till about 8 and then it was time for Bible study-age. yeah.
