I am sick and tired of being lied to and being left out. Why does that always happen to me?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to have a rehearsal and try to write down blocking when you havent even cast the whole thing? I do. And trust me. Its hard. And frustrating. We open a month from tomorrow and we are still missing 2 actors. Its pretty much crazy.

Surviving Grace and Many Moons

Okay, so I have been so crazy busy that it is unbelievable! We had tech week last weekend through thrusday. We opened on Friday. The house was amazing! Even on preview night we had a good audience. Very active. Well, now that this is open, you are all invited to see it. It is called Surviving Grace. Its a comedy about Alzheimers. It is beautiful. The actors are splended, and the directors vision lends the perfect application to an already wonderful script. It is in Plano, Thursday through Saturday, for the next 3 weekends.

Please be warned, there is language. I would rate it a VERY STRONG or a weak R for language and sexual content.

It is a lovely show. Everyone that comes and see it, leaves crying. It has a very POWERFUL message. I think it is worth the few bad words for the content and emotion that is produces. To quote the famous VeggieTales "I laughed, I cired, it moved me Bob."

However, if that sort of thing does not appeal to you, then I do have another show coming up soon in Grapevine. It is a children's show called Many Moons. We actually auditions tonight and tomorrow. I believe the age range is up to 20. So if you are intrested, give me a call. I have no idea what it is about, but I will let you know when I find out.

Amie Lou Pam, I dont know what your summer looks like, but if you could spare a few weeks, and you feel like hitting the stage again, I would love to have to you come audition. I would provide your ride since I am the SM. The only problem would be that I am AD/SM in Plano on Thursdays and Fridays, but we could work it out. Let me know!

Please, come support the arts. You know you want to.

Jacqueline
