A lily among thorns

Takamine EAN10c, my newly wed bride.

"Like a lily among thorns
is my darling among the maidens."-Solomon

And she sounds better than she looks.  It's unbelievable, I know.

Various genii

"Oscar Wilde said that sunsets were not valued because we could not pay for sunsets.  But Oscar WIlde was wrong; we can pay for sunsets.  We can pay for them by not being Oscar Wilde." - G. K. Chesterton

If you have never read any Chesterton now is the time to start, I recomend Orthodoxy.  It's genius.

"After church tonight you will go home and you will eat chicken, not human, because of the spread of Christianity."- Mark Driscoll

To listen to this genius go to http://media.marshillchurch.org/ then to sermons, I recomend the one on Jonah 4 so you can get a taste for him.

“By perseverance the snail reached the ark.”- Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Read this dude's sermons, they simply are the best next to the apostiles and Jesus.  Here's a link to an archive of them: http://www.spurgeon.org/index/rindex.htm

Do you ever want to do everything? I do. But I can't right now. It's a good thing I'm going to live forever.

I'm riding in one of these tonight:

Truth

This is a song I wrote recently.  Do you like it?  Do you get it?

A moonless day is often seen
But an unlit night comes only between
The waxing and waning of monthly life
When the stars take over the night.
Life being earth, truth her satellite
Is only monthly entirely bright
It wanes and waxes as your eyes close
And when the sun's up it's lost in repose.
But if one left earth, the orb to seek,
In a ship with fuel, curiosity piqued,
One would find her always unchanged
Perception but altered as earth spins her way.
