Last night as I was brushing my teeth and decided I wanted to read for awhile. I went into my room and lit a candle because reading by candle light is inspiring and then noticed my camera on my desk... with the candle already lit I could hardly help myself. So much for reading by candle light.

Does the word "xanga" ever remind you of that wonderful game Jenga? I just reminded me of it...

Since my last post (because that's how I keep track of time, my updates are usually monthly, if I'm updating it's probably a new month) I've been to New York City with Jeremy, Tyler, Brett, and Mrs. Weber, it was good fun, here's Jeremy and Tyler chasing a squirrel in central park, they didn't catch it... too bad.

I also went to Houston which was awesome. My whole family was there to coo and fight over Clara, our neice/grandchild. You'll understand when you look at this picture:

I can't get over how cute she is. While we were there we celebrated Christmas late and Lacey gave Jody a label maker, I put it to good use as you can see:

Since getting back I've had a revelation. At soccer practice the other day I realized my hair was annoying and so I cut it in front of a mirror. This was the result:

Since then the week has been mostly filled with working on my rediculessly long research paper. This, however, had some serious perks. I got to read a ton of Chesterton who is brilliant, here are a few good quotes I found:

You should try reading him, he's a genius, funny too.
