| Working on my portfolioHowdy!
The end is near! Putting together some final additions to my portfolio
(haha final ... yeah right). Printed out a ton of stuff and organized
it. Next step is to laminate the stuff that goes up for my SENIOR SHOW
next week! woo hoo. It will be up on the hallway near the music
department lounge area if anyone is interested in checking it out
Been a good day. Grabbed a burrito from Chipotle on the way home from
Graphica and shared it with Karen in the ENS. We're both working in
here tonight. She's just chilling here next to me reading a book. I
love just being next to her. hehe 138 days to the wedding!
Welp, better get to work. Big midterm tomorrow, and several web projects in the works.

| Chilling (literally) in the APP labHowdy!
Been a fun week. Hard to believe that there are only 7 weeks of school
left. Crazy. I realized that even though I'm not on Spring break
anymore, I'm technically on break right now compared to what's coming
... full time work for the rest of my life. I wonder how long it will
be before I have another ten-day holiday? I suppose my
wedding/honeymoon time will be the last for a while ... so weird!!
The job search is tough. I've applied at several firms and businesses
in the area (inlcuding my lovely alma mater). Its exciting to work and
then press that submit button or drop that resume in the mail and see
what doors open from there. But also kinda scary. In the end though, I
trust God. He is good and His love endures.
Had a great lunch with the Cobbster today. Karen went to a bridal
shower, and now we're working away in the APP lab (well, she;s working
and I'm writing this). Its chilly here. Hope you're all doing well.
Adios for now.

| Howdy!
So ... its been a loooong time since I posted ... I'm sure you can understand. But now I honestly have no excuse. I mean, its spring break, and I don't have homework to do. So if other people are able to put off homework for the sake of adding a xanga entry, I suppose I have no excuse not to post when I have no other excuse :)
Its been a great spring break. I brought Karen home to Richmond on Friday and then traveled down to see my parents in sunny NC. Had a great time visiting with friends Adam, Stephen and Hans. Three of the best guys ever! Also had a great time with my parents. Nice to see them again.
Got up at 4:00 Thursday morning to drive back to Richmond. But I had to stop by CU on the way and redo some of my freelance work to send to the printer by 3:00. So it was a little crazy, but it all worked out. And I got back to Karen's sooner than I had planned
Took her out shopping on Friday. She's turning 21 on Tuesday! We started registering too. That's been fun, too!
Welp, bed time now. Hope you're having a sweet spring break!

| 4:00 on Friday afternoon of finals, and where am I? Stuck in the MRC.
My shift ends at 5, thank goodness. But its been veeeery slooooow in
here today. There is one other person here. COunting down the minutes
...
Its going to be a great Christmas break. I will spend the whole time
with Karen (yipee!!). We'll be at her house until the 27, then head
down to my house until Jan 3. Then we'll come back up here. Should be
fun.
Anyhow, Merry Christmas to you all. Enjoy the season, but most of all, enjoy Him! :)

| Hello freinds!
Been a while, but there hasn't been too much to tell. Thanksgiving
break was fun and restful. I spent the time in Illinois with Karen, and
my parents. Karen's parents had a safe trip to Peru, and it was neat to
hear all about it when they got back.
The most eventful thing that's happened to me in the last week was that
I had a cornea ulcer in my right eye. I thought it was pink eye when I
started having trouble late Thursday night, but when I went to the
optometrist the next morning, I found out the sad truth. But God is
sooo good! It could have been so much worse if the ulcer had been more
on the front of my eye. And it was amazing that the optometrist is in
town on Fridays. So many little things could have gone wrong and I
could easily have lost my vision in that eye. But God was taking care
of me all along.
The optometrist said that it was because of wearing contacts too long.
Turns out that Acuvue's lenses are not FDA approved for extended wear.
So if you wear Acuvue lenses, be careful to take them out each night
and clean them before you put them back in in the morning. Ulcers are
not fun, and quite serious!
Well, praising God daily for those little things! See ya round!
