| I'm BAACCKK!I hath returned! Sort of. My computer settings once again allow Xanga! So, I hope it lasts. I don't have a very good entry right now so... Adios! | | |
| Well, school is fast-approaching and I can't wait for it. I have a pretty good feeling that I won't be seeing much of my friends in school. I won't be able to take band as a class because it is during the same our as Journalism/Newspaper. I'll still be in band but I won't be in the class. It'll be hard but I'll manage. After all, it will be nothing like band camp was. Below is my entry from my Gaia journal.
IT WAS THE HOTTEST WEEK EVER!! My band director has been a part of 14 different band camps and he says that this was the hottest week ever. Not only that, but it rained for the first time in, like, 60 years of band camp at Michigan State University. That's probably stretching a bit, but it's what I've heard.
I was burned and poisoned! I got sun poisoning on the back on my legs and on my arms. I got a triangle-shaped burn on my chest, my lips where burned, and I got blisters on the top of my ears! This was just a horrible week. I broke down and cried so often. I missed home so bad...
I suppose on the bright side I finished a bunch of pictures and I even played spin-the-bottle. O.o It went that the first time you landed on a person it was a cheek kiss. The second time you landed on that person it was a lip kiss. The third time and one was make-out. I was spared the the third and on.
Funny thing, though, is that I was suppose to make-out with this one guy but I didn't want to. Everyone kept saying to go ahead but he (Derek) said no and spun the bottle for his turn, saying that they don't force anyone to do something they don't want to. Odd thing, though, with him spinning it landed on me again 4 more times, then on him, and then on me 3 more times before landing in between two other girls. So, another guy spun in for Derek. Then the chaperones booted us out of the lounge to send us to our floors. I got spared.
| Another long-awaited update. I'm pokey about it, I suppose.
~I've got band camp from the 1st through the 6th.
~My dad's girlfriend, Julie, has finally moved in with her two boys, TJ and Austin, turning my four brother count into six. TJ and Austin aren't officially my brothers, but they pretty much are my step-brothers.
~My half brothers, Kian and Braeden, are doing fine and are causing trouble, as always.
~Trevor and Chase are doing good, too. Chase finished baseball season fairly well. Trevor finished track well, but he wasn't too happy with second and thrid all of the time.
~I finished the new Harry Potter book in record time: Under one day, and no more!
~With marching band season coming in, I'm hit with the painful reminder that I didn't get section leader. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Cammie got section leader, but I suppose I'd be happier if I had gotten it. She's a grade below me, you see, and she wasn't in marching band last year. This is her first year. I was in marching band in 7th, 8th, and 10th grades. She joined band when concert band started, and when she joined she was just learning how to play the clarinet. I've been playing the clarinet since the fifth grade. She didn't go to the Dr. Tim Seminar like I did. Still, cudos to her.
| Hello! Another all-mighty update on my horrid, everyday life!
Okay, good stuff first: I am on chaper 22 (still) of my novel-in-the-making. My roleplay on Gaia is almost to 300 pages (speaking of Gaia, the damn thing won't let me reply to PMs. People can send me PMs, but do you think I can send them back? Oh, nooo... ) I am now a first-part clarinet in the concert band! I'm getting back into my music-good-for-me stage, where I listen to music uncontrolably. Also, I have an official best friend. (He lives in Nova Scotia, but that don't matter. XD ) My mom now has a WORKING second vehical again, so things run smoother now.
Aight, bad stuff: I'm getting back into the I'm-a-lousy-sister-daughter-friend-student stage. Long story... Actually, that takes up my bad stuff list cause it's so big. XP
Alright, a little about my Nova Scotian best friend. His name is Adam, he is a roleplayer in my roleplay on Gaia, and he is my major security blanket. I have told him things (and vise versa) that I have never told anyone else. NEVER! He makes me laugh, he listens, he cares about what I say, he cares about what I do (much like another friend who, due to timing, personal activities, and school, I can't really speak too that much) and Adam he is understanding, just not about the kind of stuff people regret.
Alright, I'm tired of typing. Later!
| Spring Break has begun!!
Chase, 7 year-old brother, might have to have a root canal. If it weren't for the fact that we have no dental insurance, I'd be laughing my butt off.
Trevor, my 12 year-old brother, is joining track. The idea of getting a physical about made him regret signing up. He's still going with it I think, though.
Braeden, my 1 year-old half-brother, will be turing two on April 3rd, which is Daylight savings time and also my dad's birthday.
Kian, my 2 year-old half-brother, has othing interesting going on.
