So it's definiately been a very long time since i updated. I had no intentions on updating again, but for some reason i've been thinking about it the past few days and i've got a little free time now, so why not. It's changed so much I hardly know how to do anything anymore, you'll have to help me catch up. I don't even really remember how to do all the things i did before.

Well, I'm living in Indiana now and I'm working for the state for Department of Child Services doing investigation for Child Protection. I take reports of abuse (physical and sexual) and neglect and I go to the house and see if it's true, and if it is, i remove the kids from the home. I'm only 3 weeks into it, but so far, I love it. I've never really known myself to be an adrenaline junky, but it's very heart pounding to face down parents who are angry and screaming at you because you're taking thier kids. And some people might think i'm crazy for this, but i get to sit on a sex abuse task force. This means that every sex abuse case that comes through our county i handle. And honestly, I love it. Maybe that makes me really wierd, but I think i've found my thing.

I'm finally livin on my own and i love it. I've got a great place and it's been fun to decorate it and do all the homey things i couldn't do before. i even planted flowers! Aaron's back here too. He's livin back with his parents until we get married in October when hopefully we'll have a house. We went and looked at some new cars too. We found a 2004 Trailblazer with 85k miles. Bad on gas, but great for my job. And it's big like I want too. We can't afford anything new right now i don't think. I get huge discounts on cars because i'm a state employee, we just haven't figured out what type of discount that is yet. so maybe i really can afford a new car.

We went to aaron's nephews baseball game today. He's 5 and he plays little league. It's so funny watchin these kids. half of them were sittin down on the field playing with the grass, others were walking in circles staring at the sky. I can't imagine the frustration level of the coaches. haha I've got definate tan lines now though. I got alot of sun.
