| Maybe, Maybe NotLadies and Gentlemen, This is not a promise to come back for ever and post on a cinsistant basis. No this is not a promise to update you on my life. No this is not a promise to buy you a chocolate chip cookie. All I'm here doing is saying that I just might start blogging for two reasons. 1.) To get back into writing so I can sharpen my skills a little more and thought will flow through me again as I type. 2.) To see if there's anything else in my mind that's actually worth saying. 3.) To remember how to count. I hope you're enjoying your journey. I am. | | |
| Boing . . . Boing . . . Thud! So, did the title catch your attention? Id did mine, but then I forgot what I was going to write about. Yep, I'm sure it was going to be somthing profound, but I guess we can't all be profound all the time, now can we?
Anyway, that title does remind me of something . . . profound. Me. Just kidding about the profound part, it just sounded funny. Anyway, I just feel like bouncing off the walls right now. Thus the "Boing." The "thud" on the other hand, well, that's because I was bouncing so high, I hit the cealing. Oh well. Life is fun when you're on the right side!!

| Loss of WordsHave you ever felt like you wanted to say something, more like, you should say something, but you just can't think of anything to say? I've learned that those situations generally mean one of two things:
1. Be silent. 2. I'm not listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
There's been several times where I have seemingly had a lot of good things to say. But something that's interesting, is the best things that ever come out of my mouth are those when I had no clue what to say. Sometimes God puts words in our mouths that need to be spoken, but that only happens when we are depending on Him. After all, "He gives more grace to the humble."

| Once Again For the First TimeYes ladies and gentlemen, I am, once again, running for President at TeenPact National Convention. Many might remember when I ran last year, and the year before, and the year before. But this time, for the first time, I bring you an exciting new candidate, who has never run for office before, Anna Joy Boyles. This is an exciting time for me because I love campaigns. Because during a campaign, I get to meet TeenPacters, encourage new folks to jump in and get involved, but most importantly, it gives me a platform to point to the One who has made TeenPact great.
TeenPact has touched so many lives, including mine. I am amazed at how God used the simple principles taught through the ministry to convict me and bring me to the point of realizing that my life is worthless if not lived for God and God alone. I have been completely changed because God used TeenPact to reach me.
However, TeenPact is growing. And in order for TeenPact to reach more and more students, it will take an act of God. But there's something I learned about God, and that is He uses people, like you and me, to do His work. We are His hands and feet, but He still won't force us to do anything. We need to be willing to be used by God, and to let go of some things God has allowed us to have in order for His will to be fully accomplished through us. And when it comes to the TeenPact ministry, it may mean giving until we have nothing left to give. It may mean sacrificing time we don't want to let go. But like Jesus said to His parents when they left Him in Jerusalem, it's time for us to be about our Father's business.
I encourage each of you, if at all possible, to financially give to the TeenPact ministry. Know and realize the impact it had on your life, and know that through you donations, you can have a hand in touching so many others. Yes, it will take an act of God, but God uses you and me to act.

| The Simple ThingsI am always amazed as to how God works through the simple things in life. The basic commands He gives us are so simple, but when we actually obey them, the impact is so great.
A simple word of encouragement can change the course of a persons day. A simple prayer for somebody can mend a broken heart. A simple act of kindness can create a lasting memory. A simple sharing of love can impact a life forever.
The greatest leaders aren't the ones who do big things to solve small problems, but those who do the small things which solve the big problems. God has given each of us a small amount of time on this earth, but what we do with it, will have an impact on all eternity. It really is the simple things in life that count the most.
