We as Christians must seperate ourselves from alll the non Christians in the way we dress and try not to blend in with all the worldly people. The good, Christian boys that are destined to be your husbands are milkshakes. The trashy boys that will date you no matter what your like are like peach yogurt. When you really want a peach milkshake, but cant find one, dont settle for a nasty peach yogurt. Wait a little longer, and God will send you a peach milkshake when your ready for one. LoNGjOHn LeCtURE #3 [[chOOsiNG FRiENDs]] Everyone probably knows people who aren't excatlyy role model Christians...and thats okayy the thing is your best friends in life should be the ones who encourage your relationship with the Lord....not the ones who bringg it down..also by hanging out with non christians you will most likely be tempted to do things that u know are not CHRIST like.. by keepingg good ChRiSTiAN friendss you dont have to worry about them tempting you =) **JUST remEmber---you should makee the infuence on them and they shouldn't make the influence on you** LongJOHN Lecture #4 What to do about the ppl who annoy/are mean to you. When there is someone in your school, family, church, ect. that is really wierd, annoying, or mean, this is the way to deal with them: Kill them with kindness. When they do something mean to you, try to annoy you, or act all wierdy, they just want you to get frustrated and mad. When they do this, just be nice to them. Dont yell at them or tell them to stop:just be nice to them and/or ignore them. Then they will think "Why is she/he being nice to me? Oh well. I'll go bother another person now." Trust me on this one---it works. Try completly ignoring your little brother/sister (but in a nice way) and see if they get bored of you and leave. They probably will. LONGJOHN LeCtUree #5 **RAP MUSiC** BASiCALLy in todays generation most teens listen to rap music. Most of the rap music is only talking about drugs, promiscuity etc.. if you are a Christian you shouldn't surround yourself with all of these ideas. Listeningg to alot of rap music puts these ideas in your head instead the good CHristian thoughts that christian music provides. =) ThiNK about this.... iF you were asked to write down all the words of a rap song you know....then write down all the words to amazing grace ((or any other ChriStiANn song)).... which one would you know more of??? ****We also do believe that these lectures have been generated by the pregnancy of LongJohn.
