I can't believe how is long it is to get my immigration documents.

This is how it is was supposed to work :
1) Apply for immigration in Quebec = usually takes 3 months to get a "OK"
2) Send that "OK" from Quebec Province, to the Canada gouvernment : takes 9 months.
                                  = Permanent residency

But this is my reality : I have been waiting since August ( 7 months) for my acceptation
from Quebec !! So if i get it in the next few days ( hope so) and if at the federal level
they are also "overwhelmed", i will have to wait in France for the documents. I hope
all this won't affect my project to get back to studies next fall.

Have you ever faced a life-or-death situation ?
Ever felt your life threatened ?

I did have that feeling for couple of weeks, but fortunately
for a big part it was in my head ( and a little bit in my body).
I just had some kind of inflammation in the chest causing some
weird feelings in my left arm and pain in the chest.

At the beginning i thought it was stress, not enough sleep or
whatever but it was getting worse.
As a former first aid worker i did imagine the worst  :
Heart problem !! I was starting to live and accept that idea for
a few weeks , until i got the results, 10 days of medication and
the pain has gone.

During a few days i really had a new vision of life.....
What if everything stop NOW ?

I knew before this incident ( thanks to my shrink) that sometimes
i act out of fear or social pression. Not really doing meaningful
things for me..... But after that it was more obvious to me.
It's strange but i am very happy that happened to me.

What would you like to do the most Fred on this planet ?
Answer = Learn as much as possible about human beings ,
their traditions, cultures, languages....

I will start Anthropology at the university of Montreal next fall.
I am not sure where this could lead me but i least i would have
chosen my path instead of drifting aimlessly. I have been thinking
about it for years but always find reasons not to do it, like :
"what for? What am i gonna do with that ? "

I know the answer now : To get closer to my interests, that's all.
