Paris

So here I am in Paris, I already posted somewhat on Kris's Xanga. So far it has been very hot, and I brought all long jeans and tshirts! Smart of me huh! So I think I'll have to buy a few skirts and get mom to send me a comfy pair of my flip flops. I am pretty tired now, Alex and I missed our drawing class because the teacher was to vague when he told us where to meet, but it is ok because alot of our other classmates missed it too. I just got done shopping in the mall (At the grocery store!) Alex and I got a few snack items and sandwhich tools. I just left Alex sitting on some corner and headed off to my watercolor class at the Accent center (The main school center). So I just did my first ride on the Metro by myself, I made it too! I got on at Place d'Italie and got off at Bastille! Amazing! I wish I was not so hot! I reaaalll need a haircut, but with my limited French that is gonna be fun! I might end up having Alex cut my hair! hahahaha. I did not bring my camera card reader so I can't post any pictures, and I did not see anything that looke like a card reader to use...maybe if I found a mac store!

So far so good! I was a wee bit homesick the first day, I had that (Oh god what did I just get myself into feeling) But that quickly ended! :) I am tired excited for the rest of our stay, which I feel might go too fast! I am all the sudden very tired...just right now and I still have water color, and then Art his. But Art His meets at the louve glass pryamid! So I doubt I can stay too tired, but right now I could definately hit the hay!!

Our rooms at the (Fiap) are pretty nice, they are homely, some of the snobby girls...(which is most all of them) in our group complain about them, but I kinda like them. The light switch is this batch of switches in one spot that you have too toggle with to get the bathroom light to go on, and the shower is a push button one! yay! The shower button is the only downside, but otherwise it is pretty much what I expected.

I kind of wish I had taken a French class...but then again, Alex, who is 3 or 4th year French, cannot understand anyone! Kinda difficult! So I think I will manage with my smile and with my new phrase, "I don't speak french" Merci and however you spell the sorry word!

MAN o MAN am I ever tired, I have to run off to class so more later! Love to all, Sara

A novel idea watson!

What better time to do an update than at 4 in the morning? So this is what I was thinking, isn't it strange how ppl like movies so much. They like them so much because they like hearing new information, just like how when you are a kid, you like to read new books. The WHOLE movie is NEW...kinda novel eh? Thats why ppl like books too. It is pretty strange when you think about how we love new information AND how we also feel the need to have a constant of information (some things need to stay the same for us to remain sane). yep, this is what happens when you stay up too late folks. go to bed kiddies.

Break

Ah the break! So wonderful, sleep sleep and do nothing! Friends are comming home from college and military! Feeling more excited about going to Paris, we are almost positively gonna buy a euro pass and stay for 21 days. It is only 500 for 21 days..and the hostels are only like 10 bucks a nite, so 700 more base price for a month, pretty good. Super cool...yay break!
