| | Sho and Ao2 ...:D
First off, for explanatory purposes; Sho Online Army of Two
Sho Online is an MMO. Army of Two is a console Co-op TPS (cooperative third-person shooter) for Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.
I have nothing really more to say than these; Sho Online = love. Army of Two = hardcore.
Okay, I guess I have more to say.
Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios are possible the two most rugged characters I will ever like. Most of the time, the gruff, "badass" characters in games I tend to ignore or generally disregard. But these two I can't get over. They're such great characters, with such realistic personalities and whatnot... and goddamn the game just looks sexy itself. The screenshots and images on the website and character profiles don't do them justice. (Salem looks a lot older in the picture on his profile than he does in the game. o_O)
Salem has a really cute voice too. xD Go to Media Recon>Videos>Page 2>Rescue Mission. Near the end of the video, listen to the higher pitched, tiny squeak of a "Yes, sir!" Yeah. That's Salem. It's adorable.
But I digress. The main reason I made a post about Ao2 today.
Tia and I went out and rented the game after school yesterday, at about 11:oo or so. (We get out at about 9:oo from class, but we went to the mall before heading over to Hollywood Video by the Fred Meyer's near our neighborhood.) We started to play after she came over and I got out of the shower, about 12:3o. Every so often, we'd pause it and leave it for a while. (It didn't help that we were hardly blinking while we played. Moreso when it got to a point that I couldn't even blink when I wanted to, it hurt too much. xD) We played about 6hrs overall though, with her leaving around 18:3o. I don't want to brag or anything, but we got pretty far. Doesn't help that we were playing on easy though. (It was still pretty hard though, to tell the truth.)
Anyway. Today, since we couldn't get Ao2 out of our heads (it's damn addicting) I went over to her house after I got home from my AP English exam, and we played for about another 4.5hrs.
And... we beat it.
'nuff said.
Pretty damn kickass ending. But now I want a sequel. D:
Yeah, we're going to go back and play more, that's for sure. But it's just so sad. ):
We beat it faster than Halo 3, though.
