| Hello to one and all back in the great US of A! I hope you are all having a great semester! We have been soooo busy here! We have been to some of northern greece...southern greece....a cruise to the greecian islands and are going to corinth and a bunch of other places on Sunday! Then...when we get back on Wed....we will be leaving in 3 days for Isreal! yahooo!!! As far as classes go we are 2/3 done.....after this week we will only have one more full week of classes, all the rest of the time we will have like...2 days here and 3 days there!!! Yessss!!!!
The food here is amazing!!! I think I'm gonna have to slack off if I still want to wear my clothes back home!!...but oh well! I finally have my free travel figured out!! YAY!!! O! And "free travel" is the dumbest thing they could have named it! It is sooooo far from free it is sad!! But whose complaining? I mean..other than me? :) I (and 5 other people) will fly to berlin...cause that is about the only way to get out of this country cheap! Then we will fly to Naples...take a train to Rome....then to Florence....Venice....Salzburg...Vienna.....THEN on the 7th of Dec, at 6 AM!! I am going to fly out of Bratislava, Slovakia to get to london for my flight back home!! whew! If any of you see me next semester and i look more insane than normal....the above explains why!!!
Well, I hope you all have a GREAT day! I miss you all!

| Kalimera! (that's good morning in Greek) I hope you are all having an amazing semester!! So far we have been to Sunion..the southern most point on the main land of Greece to watch the sun set!! Sunion was sooooo amazing! There is this big temple there on the top of this mountain and you can climb up there and watch the sun set across the sea! There were these people there getting their wedding pics done! I bet those turn out amazing!
We have also been to Athens twice! We went on Sunday and had a tour of the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Roman Forum, Mars Hill, the Greek Agora, Hadrians Library, a restored stoah (a BIG store), and a ton more! That night me went to church..they only have english services in the evenings. That was the VERY best part of the day! When we got there the ladies decided to give us all adopted moms!! Mine is fronm Russia and dosen't speak english, but her son does! He is so cute...about 12 years old...., he had to live in Siberia for about a year, while his folks were here, to have leg surgery. Now he is walking fine and speaks 3 languages!! They gave us all cookies and it was the most amazing showing of agape love I have ever seen! Next Sunday they are having a service with all the languages that go there! (greek, bulgarian, russian. and english!) They have baptised 40 people in the bulgarian ...part..alone!!! (in the past year!!!!) It's awesome!!
We are going to leave for our "educational" cruise tomorrow!!!! We get to go to Ephesus, Rhodes, and some other islands I can't pronounce! I'm soooooo excited!! I'll let you know that goes!!
I hope you all have an awesome week! I love you all!!
| Ok everyone...I'm HERE!!!! AHHH!!! It is sooooooo amazing here!! The weather is perfect..the food is way to good...the people are all great...AND I'm lifeguarding!!! What more could I ask for?!?! ....well..a date would be nice..(wink..wink...lol..jk)
We had an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam...so we got to go out and look around! We went to Anne Franks house and just tooking all the awesome views!! It was great! Then we flew to Greece...We got here at midnight here time...so we came back and hit the sack! The next day they orientated (i just made a new word!!) us to the city and HUG!~! We took a walking tour of Porto Rafti..the city where we are staying.
Every Wednessday they give us money to go out and get our own food for dinner. A few of us went to the local grocery store and bought some stuff for spaghetti. We have our own kitchens in our rooms, so I cooked it and it only cost us about 1 euro (= $1.23)!!! YAY!!! We still have a LOT left...so we are trying to get the guys to eat it!
Our group is really small...of the 40 students we could bring...we only brought 24!! (7 guys and 17 girls!!) I feel bad for the guys! When we walk around it looks funny because there are so few of them!! Oh well...I hope it dosen't go to their heads!! lol, jk Everyone here is as AWESOME!! The whole group is so laid back about everything...we have all gotten really close, so life has been tons of fun!
I am life-guarding...well....that's what I get paid to do...but all I really do is swim around and clean the pool. Nathan M. is the guys life-guard...so we just take turns cleaning it. We have to vacuum it out every other day because of all the dust that blowns in there. We get paid $4 and then they change it to euros!! Which means we get paid about...$3.25 per hour!!! I never want to hear anyone complain about minimum wage in the states!! I don't have it bad at all, but some of the other jobs are hard..and they still get paid the same! Oh well....we will survived!!!
This Sunday we are going to Athens!!! We get to tour all over the place!! I'm really excited about it! I'll let you know how it goes!! Have a great day!!
