Late Spring... just a tich behind

A new tradition for the guys

Last year- Yankee Stadium, this year- Wrigley Field, just blocks from where Larry grew up.

Hopefully the next post will be slightly more timely, but don't count on it. Always remember Hannah had nothing to do with the snapshots. I know she must cringe whenever I want them posted. She loves me anyway.

It has been a good spring. You are seeing the first installment of our snapshots. Some pretty special memories held in these shots. So grateful to have all the children included as well as Sydney and my mother who will be 90 in December. I guess you could sum it up by saying God did a pretty great thing when He created the family!!!

Jason

I think I had better do a quick post because I think it is gonna be a little while before I can get help with pics for a post. Jason ended up having 2 other surgeries the week of the accident due to compartment swelling. As a result he also had to have grafts. He is home with his mother checking on him most days, helping with things, etc. As of our last conversation he had not started therapy so you know who was not a happy camper at all. Trying to rectify that some so I don't go nuts. The thing that really needs prayer is nerve damage so sensation in the lower leg is diminished as well as some motor function loss. Praying for that process to speed up. Range of motion is improving nicely, wearing a hinged brace. Parying God will use all of this to draw Jason close to Himself.

Pray for Jason

Quick post here. If you look at the first picture of the previous post, you will see Hannah with Jason, brother of the bride. He was in a bad dirt bike accident on Sun. resulting in 3 splintered leg fractures between the knee and ankle requiring a large plate and 14 screws. Today they had to take him back to surgery to relieve pressure in the leg and are still hoping they can avoid doing skin grafts. The doc has said his job in heating/air is out the window. He and his family could use your prayers. Btw, my sister is using only one crutch now and is back to work this week!!! Thanks for praying!! Hope to do a 'spring post' very soon.
