HELLO ALL. so wow.

i got home yesterday from my summer program at UGA and it was amazing. i really feel like i've made the right decision going there, although it is tough for me to hear about everyone going to state/ole miss only because i'll miss you so much!!

i'll be on the coast this weekend helping build a play ground and helping out at happening 49... my sister is going through so pray for her!! :)

i've eaten a pint of blueberries today.

why hello there....

 i finally decided on a college...UGA it is!! i'm pretty pumped.

so yesterday, i had to get my passport renewed. ok. so i go to the post office (because that's where you do it) and the lady takes me to this room with a camera and i sit in the chair and she holds up the camera, and just takes the picture. now. i don't know about you. but when i get my picture taken, i appreciate, NAY, i EXPECT the person taking the picture to count. so, of course, i was befuddled. "excuse me?" i said to the lady.... "ummmm.. you... didn't.. count?" she replies with a 'kind hearted' "it'll turn out fine sweetey/" (now, i know you are all asking yourselves... DID THIS WOMAN WHO DIDN'T COUNT TO 3 REALLY JUST CALL YOU SWEETY???.. and the answer my friends... is yes.) now, let me clarify that i had a total of 5 hours of sleep friday and saturday night combined. this does not photograph well. so. of course i look drugged up in the picture on top of the fact that the lady (whose job it is to take pictures) didn't count.

in other news.. .the happening was this weekend. it was bittersweet. last one i'll ever do. it has been such a great experience and a way to meet really incredible people.

one thing that i guess really became clear this weekend has to do with friendships. you know...you can have a million friends, but it is only when the two of you share the same faith in God, that that friendship can really begin. it can then leave the superficial level of friendship and grow into something much deeper. i guess summed up i would say that:

God's love enables us to love others more. He increases our capacity to love.

and with that... i have to find my cell phone... ahhhhh

oh yes, and i have an 89 in mississippi studies.

so many intense things. well not really but i must make this brief. sooo college... still undecided .. although i got my acceptance from vanderbilt yesterday so that's exciting... i also am still highly considering uga, uva (contingent upon whether or not i get in) and mayyybe furman/clemson. what to do, what to do.... i feel like i haven't talked to a lot of people lately.. i miss it. i've been so busy ..and stressed. i hate being stressed. but i love life and pretty much every one except my MS studies teacher. one person i realllly love is a guy i don't even know. (nice intro) i was in greenville, sc this past weekend and while i was walking downtown when this GIANT CARBOARD BOX started running towards me. then it just plopped down. and a whisteling noise emerged from this box with eye/air holes. it was really strange i know you can't get the full effect but i've decided that one day... one day soon... i will do this. run around in a cardboard box that is. there is an extended version to this story, but like i said i need to be brief. much to do and the night grows older. phew.
