  • I start work tomorrow at Cisco. I am really not ready to go to work yet. Work sounds a little too far still. And it's been too long of a break from everything. I don't know if that's normal. But since I am still in an orientation program tomorrow, it probably won't feel like working that much yet.

    It sounds like the orientation from a tech company is much less social events, and more technical. I really wanna figure out myself if I am really those kinda of people or not. And I think Cisco would give me a perfect opportunity to clear things up.

    No wonder the pizza looked a little smaller the past summer in Pizza Hut. It's so easy to spend HK$100 per person at any settings at Pizza hut... sigh... expensive

    I think the coke has been reduced to 330 mL for a long time?

  • O well. So now I am in San Jose. I arrived last Wednesday.

    Thanks to me new roomate, Nitin, I already have an apartment to move into right away. He was very nice to pick me up from the airport as well. I was going to take some photos, but I still cannot find my camera charger yet..

    My room: a total mess right now. I only have an air mattress that I brought with me, so it's just the room and the air mattress right now. I need to buy things for the room for sure. But my friend Mary is moving out, so I probably will take some of her stuff. XD

    Car: I bought a used car here. An 2006 Nissan Altima. Tan colour, again no photos... sigh

    So, now I really have to go to IKEA for once to buy a book shelf or some sort there.

    I will start work on 4 Aug, Monday. And there begins my work life.

  • I was such a great gathering on Friday night with lots of my friends (Monkey, Samson, Tang Chun Wei, Brian, Yeung Chin, Andre, Chris, Jason, Gilbert). Nice time talking to each other. It was nice to drink by the habour front in Wanchai, should do that again some other time



    Back in Ann Arbor Sunday. Due to the super cheap fare I got ($99+tax), I am leaving soon on Wednesday...LOL

    Had a 23 hour flight from HKG-DTW. No major hiccup like last time, everything was smooth, except I got stopped by the custom and had to open up my suitcase. Yet, still a very tiring flight. I don't plan to fly for so long for a while now...KEKEKE

    Things to do:
    Let Fedex come and pick up my boxes.
    Pack the rest of my belongings.
    Clean my clothes.
    Put myself back together for work...LOL

  • Went to Macau with Jason, Eric and Vincent on Tuesday. The new Venetian is pretty nice. And the mall isi totally walkable and sweet. I will definitely go there again.

    Win/loss? SIGH... As always in cainos...
