for those of you who care...we've moved out of our old house..:( that happened on monday. but its happy i guess. we're now staying with some friends of ours, the Bakers, while my daddy finishes the house. don't try to call my old phone number, because it won't work...lol...but my cell is still the same...so if you need to get a hold of me...thats the number to call. i'll try and keep it charged and always try to answer it...but you know...things happen. lol

uh so far this week i've seen mr. and mrs. smith twice, and stars wars episode 3 for the second time. i saw ryan steadley's band play at nord's, i sang in church on sunday, stayed up till 430 in the morning with work the next morning and worked for 8 hours, i loitered in barnes and noble, the quicktrip parking lot, and the walmart at 41st at odd hours (yeah...we got to walmart at midnight...walked around some...and listened to music in the entertainment section till like 1am...haha) got to listen to some awesome japanese music, make fun of starwars, and do 4 hours of my six required hours with my driving instructor. that pretty much sums up my week. :)

saturday night is my dance recital...if you want details...hit up my cell...if you dont have my cell #, call up one of your friends who does have my cell number, and ask them for it. i'd love for any and all of you to come if you can. :) <3

so now im off to work in like an hour...then shopping maybe after w/my mommy...peter we need to hang out...i'll call you later dude...and everybody else...we need to hang out too. i have like all the time in the world...almost...except sometimes...so call me all the time and we'll set something up...

allright, that is all. btw...hayden christiansen makes me laugh. because he is so bad. hahahaha...but at least he "sucks less" than he did in the last movie...lol. so if you need a good laugh, just think about hayden's acting in these movies, and giggle about it. haha okay maybe not giggle...

the time has come...

wow. i can honestly say i n.e.v.e.r. really thought we'd actually make it to this day. we've had :s:o: many setbacks...lost so much time...spent so much time...it seemed like it would never end...but now i can say it, and know thats its happening...because i can see it happening around me...we are moving...

the house is full of boxes...empty ones and full ones...but there is so much left to do...anna is gone for the week...mom and i are home...dad is working feverishly to get the new house finished...but honestly...it all seems so u.n.r.e.a.l.

i know some of you (and not very many of you btw :) remember when we first bought the land and started planning to move. we bought the land in januaryish of 2000...dad was positive he could have the house done by august of that year at the latest. lol. unless time sped up around him...its taken a little bit longer than that...

the past year we've spent with our house on the market...gone through two realtors...complained tirelessly and spent countless hours trying to improve the house by cleaning...decorating...and fragrancing...trying to make our house seem like the perfect home for the prospective buyers..only to end up selling the house to a friend of ours...instead of to any of the hundreds of people that must have come through our door...

and now its finally happening. our moving helpers are coming tomorrow...we're loading stuff up...the closing is on monday...wow. God is good.

i've lived here the past 13 years of my life...i don't remember any home but this one...lots of memories...but there will now be lots of new memories. :) This will be my last entry from my house...im not quite sure when the computer is going in the box...or how soon it will be til its plugged in again...but im not in a ton of hurry...

have a great weekend everybody. :) thanks for your prayers throughout all of this...its been crazy...it still is crazy...but we're gonna make it...and i can say that now and know that it is gonna happen. :)

well i would write alot about what happened this week but 1) you probably do not care in the least...if you did you would ask 2) i didnt really do all that much 3) at least not anything you want to hear about
pretty much...to sum up my week....i worked. i worked monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, tonight, and tomorrow. yes...that is everyday. i think when its over i'll come in with about 30 1/2 hours for this week. crazy. and we're trying to move. crazy. aye yi yi my life is crazy.

pray for joonas. he's searching. pray he finds the Lord. he's so close. he wants it. he just can't get there yet. i love that guy.

peter and i are going to try to start up a summer worship night like 2x a month at his house. i think it will be awesome. leave me comments to let me know if you're interested. i miss worship at school...so this will make up for it. maybe even be better. awesome.

i love summer fun...
this week has been fun...lets see i worked on tuesday...saw a bunch of people at the mall and that TOTALLY made my day! then tuesday night i went to bell's w/ amy cara paul brian peter molly joel april james katie ikenberry liz kassie kenneth and josiah (im pretty sure thats all...lol there were alot so i hope i didnt forget anyone!) it was soo soo fun! we laughed and had such great fun! i was SO BRAVE!!! (i hate rides...i also swore i would NEVER ride the Zingo...and yeah, i rode it TWICE! it was awesome...and then most of you know my emotional history w/ pharoah's fury...and i conquered my fears and rode that twice too! i rode like every ride and it was so great!) then we went and ate at wendy's and at utica square...then i went home...

i love arielle mckenna...
oh my gosh arielle is like my BEST FRIEND! lol we worked together like all week and then on WEDNESDAY after dance she came over and spent the night and it was SO much fUN! awww i just love arielle so much! she makes my days brighter! so we rented "rat race" and "shall we dance" and we watched those and talked and text messaged until like 4 in the morning! it would have been later but i had to work the next day lol! anyway...arielle it was so much fuN! i cant wait for our picnic!

i love exercise...
i walked to work wednesday...then i had dance...then arielle and i walked to reasor's...then i had yoga thursday night...then arielle and ryan and i walked a mile around hunter park...i just LOVE feeling stretchy and healthy and good! so fun...i need to get a membership somewhere where i can workout and tan this summer...so if you know cheap membership places (preferably where you go so i can go w/ you!) let me know!

i love concerts...
so saturday afternoon i went down to riverparks ampitheater w/ brian (it was our "date" haha! lol) cara, paul and ryan quillin to see a bunch of bands play. it was SUPER hot and ((it wasnt quite my music of choice)) but i had a huge bundle of fun! thnx guys! the other bands were just okay...but disciple...i hafta admit...they were good...and i had fun. :) it started like lightning and thundering and raining like around 8 or 830 and it was super cool...but kinda scary cuz it was REALLY windy! we found out later we were driving through 70-90mph winds...crazy man! brian took me home and when we were pulling into my neighborhood all the power went out...so i made him sit in my living room with me and mom for an hour while the storm passed. lol! anyway it was fun...

::WEEKEND UPDATE::

well today is monday, so i'll tell you about my weekend (in a nutshell)

well thursday i worked...friday i had the day off so i went to Laurie Thompson's wedding! she was such a beautiful bride! (and what a beautiful maid of honor too! wink april!!) it was such a beautiful wedding...and the reception was beautiful also. it was just all beautifuL! congrats to the happy couple!

friday night i had a job interview at red robin...i was disappointed actually...chickfila is so much better...lol but then i was supposed to go to Bell's w/ amy and cara and paul and linz and idk who else...but instead i went and had a blast w/ my family at Lowe's for 2 1/2 hrs! *sarcasm is literally DRIPPING from that last phrase* but anyway...we will do bell's tomorrow night...

saturday was a busy day...i woke up and had to be at the church garage sale at like 830...so i got there...worked a bit w/ malisa, malinda, kristin and chad (we were the pricing committee...yess! lol) then i left there and went to work...worked from 12-4...then i left work and went to molly clement's bday party (happy birthday molls!) that was tons of fun...we had a picnic at the park...then went walking/shopping around utica square (i got a super cute top at gap for like $6.99 yesss!) then we went back to megan and chris's house (her sister and her sister's husband) and played catch phrase and speed uno...then we had a 30 minute scavenger hunt that we just like made up on the spot and that was awesome! my team totally won. it was great. we got a coaster from on the boarder, a banana from reasor's, a cup of water from someone's hose, a blockbuster employee's signature, we ran backwards from barnes and noble to old navy and got the carl's jr. employee to sing twinkle twinkle little star over the phone! haha it was great fun...but i got home at like 1030...(the first time i'd been home since 830am...bleh)

sunday we woke up and it was my mommy's birthday!! *HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!* so we got in the car and drove to Gentry, Arkansas (just past Siloam Springs) to the drive through safari there. my mom loves it...its pretty cool..so it was me, anna, mom, dad, rina, and laura (anna's friend) and yeah it was fun. animals are so funny...anna and laura rode a camel, held a snake, held a lemur, held a baby kangaroo, baby bunnies and puppies. it was fun. :) then i drove all the way home! on the turnpike! really super fast! lol that was fun...then i went to barry's for a swim party/cookout/hangout time...and that was fun too. then i came home...

today i went shopping w/ my mom and anna for my washington trip...we shopped for like 2 hours and all i found was a pair of jeans...:( its so hard! cuz its not clothes i would normally wear...so im picky...its difficult...then i went to see "the longest yard" with my friend ryan from work...that was tons 'o fun...what a funny movie! it did have some badness in it...so if you see it and it offends you...i warned you...cuz some of it was offensive...but yeah...that was fun and then amay came over and we worked on her song for her competition! hope i helped some!

so now im sitting here...talking to this machine...and i think i'll go to bed soon...cuz im tired...

**for those of you who wondered...my last entry was NOT a suicide note...i was not letting go of life...quite the contrary actually...i finally was at a point where i could hold onto life again...and let go of some of the emotional baggage and bitterness i've been carrying around for awhile...hope that clears away all your worries about me cutting my life short :)**

okay, really...i think i consider TODAY to be the official first day of summer for me...because graduations are over...and i can focus on the summer and the schoolyear ahead of me...so

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!!!!

um i dont remember where i left off...i think thought that it was saturday or sunday...so i'll pick up from there...not much happened. all i've done is worked and gone to graduations. oh...but the fun stuff...

fun stuff on sunday: 1) church w/ the family :) i love jesus! 2) arielle and i babysat for arthur (my chickfila boss) for 5 hours. he has six kids. the friends they went out with have two. thats right my friends...8 children under the age of eight for five hours. you think im invincible and amazing? you would be correct. how did we conquer the beasts you wonder? *actually...there were only two beasties...the others are angels:) and the beasties are only beasties because they felt like since they had friends over they could get away with doing stuff...haha...yeah right...* well we first allowed them to watch shrek 2...then we ate pizza...then we made cookies...then i made like 50 water balloons and we got all wet in the backyard. then me, being the brilliant babysitter that i am, made it a contest to see who could pick up the most pieces of broken balloons off the grass. haha...it was awesome. then we watched another movie i dont remember...let the kids play outside...anyway...it was grand...but needless to say i had THE BIGGEST headache when i got home that night...so i took 4 extra strength tylenol *thats right...FOUR...overdose? i think necessary dose is more like it...* plugged in a movie...and went to bed.

fun stuff on monday: 1) i worked from 12-4 up at the ole' chicken place. 2) went out to 8th grade graduation (lots o' fun) 3) went to arby's (yummy curly fries!) 4) 3 hours at the bimbas **THE FUNNEST EVER!!! haha sooo many inside jokes! "this just in!" haha "check out that girls DonKEY!" wow that was fun guys. we should do it more (chandler, sam, erin, jessika, briana, amy, me, peter, namie, and elaine :) aw but i missed cara...

fun stuff on tuesday: 1) i worked from 12-4 at the chicken shack again. 2) went to 12th grade graduation (more fun was had there) 3) went to chili's for like 10 minutes 4) went to the bimba's AGAIN!! so much fuN! all the africans were there! singing and praying and EaTInG! **yummy i love african food!** we got to see videos of elaine and namie as little kids in liberia! so cool! then amy, briana, erin, kendyl, jessie and i spent the night w/ elaine and namie and stayed up till like 330 in the morning! that was tons of fun too!! yay!!

fun stuff today: 1) got up early...went and had breakfast w/ lizzy...then worked from 11-4 and hung out 2) church at believers--all worship service---amazing 3) coffee w/ peter at starbucks yum caramel frappucino :)

**SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!**

oh guys, wow...i cant tell you what a relief it is to me to not have to worry about school! the last month and a half have been SO hard and its taken everything in me to not just throw the towel in a give up...but i DIDNT! i worked hard and i made it with only a *slight* decline in my grades. :) I couldnt have done it w/o my awesome God, my awesome teachers, and my awesome friends...so thanks guys. :)

well this past week has been so busy and stressful...so im glad and sad that its over.

wednesday...
took our history and chemistry finals. (chem 93%...eh...but oh well...) had a party in bio and watched 'shark tale' and ate food.MRS OARD YOU'RE AWESOME! i worked after school from 4-7 because it was my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF WORKING AT CHICKFILA!! haha im such a dork...but didnt have any thursday finals so i went to believers church for church. i still love that place. :) i know i say that every week...but it remains true. jason jackson is my hero. lol. kinda.

thursday...
coming to school today was pointless. still not sure why i went...we watched spiderman 2 in stage craft...then i did nothing in the first part of greek...then wandered downstairs to watch the kindergarten graduation. MY BABY RALEY GRADUATED!!! :) im so proud...lol i love that kid so much! aw i will watch her all summer long...lol so after school i went w/ randy amy paul and peter to red robin for lunch...yum yum...turned in an application *my fingers are crossed* then since amy paul and randy couldnt go see anything and we didnt want to go home and study...peter and i went and saw "monster in law" it was pretty good. im still undecided whether i would recommend it...definite chick flick...but with non-chick-flick humor also...so idk...make up your mind for yourself...thursday night was my private w/ jessica...so we worked out the kinks :)

friday...
praise the Lord! the blessed day finally came! as i stated before SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!! took my lit and algebra finals...think i did relatively well...praise the Lord! hung out after school w/ people screaming and hugging and going crazy...the only thing that made this last day of school better than last years last day of school is there were no tears. :) only smiles...no goodbyes...just "see ya laters" then most of us headed over to peters house for the end of school party..that was lots of fun. i got to rock out on guitar and play dance dance revolution...drink strawberry daquiris and hang w/ my friends...the only thing was it was SO hot...it is still hot here. so then i went home for like an hour...ate tortilla soup (my speciality...i make THE best tortilla soup you will ever eat...just ask tim, amy, my family, the bible study girls...they will all tell you how good it is :) thanks lindsey and mrs. brewer for the recipe!) then me, anna, april, sarah hodge, and ARIELLE KING *who is in town for a couple weeks* and peter and micah stubbs went to see episode 3...which i must say was good (at least better than the last two) and while the acting and dialogue sucked again...the effects were cool...and yoda was awesome...but all in all...it was thoroughly depressing...because evil triumphs...so you have to keep reminding yourself that the next 3 episodes bring good back to reign...but it wasnt a COMPLETE waste of $6...it was just fun to see it in theatres...

saturday...
today will be a busy day. i worked this morning from 9-11 (wimp shift i know...long story) now im home...i'll be leaving in a 45 minutes or so to go to the CHEF graduation at ORU...i have like 4 or 5 friends graduating...then i have 2 graduation parties to go to this afternoon...then possibly cafe usa tonight or go out w/ the gang that goes to cafe usa...i just dont know.

okay...now that you know all the details of my life that you had no wish of knowing...i just want to recap on my year. all i can say is--amazing. God has done SO many things in my life this year...brought incredible people in my life, taken people away, taught me SO much, given me SO many opportunites, done so much for me, made me learn so many lessons (easy and difficult...) and just brought me so much closer to Himself. through all the joy and the struggles he has been there urging me on and encouraging me to press on even when the going gets tough. he has given me AMAZING friends and relationships that i could not have done without. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away" has certainly been true in my life this year...but "every blessing you pour out i'll turn back to praise" will be true as well. blessings come in all different forms...some are beautiful, some are terrible, but all are wonderful on the inside with a greater purpose than that which i can see. i have learned to rely less on other people and more on Christ for my strength and my value...but i have to say...he has given me amazing people to do life with. **you know who you are...:) if you dont know...i'll be sure to let you know** i'll rant and rave more later after graduations so i can FULLY say that this year is over...

i love living! even when its hard...
well this week was...awesome and terrible...but terribly awesome...

so monday night was the ALL SCHOOL PICNIC~ that was super fun guys...omg...i LOVE saint augustine academy and EVERY single person that has ever passed through its doors! it is amazing how many AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, GOD-CHASING people can be in ONE building...or ONE event at one time...especially with an establishment the size of ours...it is truly inspiring...and truly a picture of God's provisions for me...all this to say...the picnic was fun. :)

tuesday was super busy...but i dont remember why...but i did the usual...
wednesday i went to church at believer's church again...i love that place...jason jackson is awesome...and i have to say i REALLY needed to hear the message that he delivered...so THANKS AGAIN PETER for the ride. :) dina and i had fun *i know...i thought her name was rina...its a long story...* and then afterwards we went and got milkshakes...YUM. :)

thursday...oh yeah! PAUL GOT HIS CAR ON THIS DAY! its super cool guys...i got to ride in it cuz our greek class went to joe's crab shack for lunch just because we wanted to...and it is awesome! im super jealous...but in a good christian way of course. :) btw...joe's...very good. :) i played my last chapel on thursday...we had an "enter the worship circle" theme thing and played waterdeep songs...it went pretty well...minus a few things...but hey...thats how it goes. :) i've yet to decide whether chapel leadership will be part of my life next year...thats one thing you can pray for me for this summer..we'll just have to see...

so then thursday night my family went w/ my grandmother to Hideaway pizza for dinner. i love their pizza it is so very yummy! lol i filled out an application there...it'd be awesome if i could get a job there...i may also work at jamba juice...i got hookups. :) yess...and i know what some of you are thinking...but no...hideaway and/or jamba juice will not be the end of my chickfila days...as someone there said the other day "chickfila is like the mafia...once you're in...you don't get out till you die" hahaha...yeah...i'll be there pretty much forever...so friday was school...we got our yearbooks and they are amazing! PROPS to the yearbook staff! cuz these are way better than...other ones...haha so yeah signing yearbooks was tons of fun. :) yay. but...the only bad thing is...while signing yearbooks it hit me...and sunk in...that i have one week left with all these amazing people...then i got sad...but im saving my tears for tuesday the 24th...aye yi yi my tears will flow...

friday night was paul's 16th party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL! *TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!* it was sooo much fun! well...some wasnt "SO MUCH" fun...but alot of it was fun...playing catch phrase and four on a couch and playing w/ the balloons. SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO PLAYED THE BALLOON GAMES!! haha we are crazy that late at night with that many balloons! hahahaha good times...
today i worked...it was long and boring...the crazy coupon lady came...argh i always get stuck w/ her...then i went to rachel bearer's benefit concert. THE BIGGEST SHOUT OUT EVER TO PRISCILLA RACHEL LAWSON BEARER. if there was one singer in the world who epitomized the sound of the "voice of an angel" it would be rachel bearer. rachel..you were absolutely phenomenal. you brought tears to my eyes...i love you soo much...

then peter and i went to nordaggio's for coffee...thanks peter! yum yum it was so fun...i love coffee houses so very much...this guy was playing there tonight...he inspired me to get a gig at a coffee house this summer...so i'll be practicing my "coffee-esque" songs...you all will have to come...it will be great fun...

allright...thats all for now...finals are next week! aye yi yi pray for me! i will need it! but praise the Lord that FRIDAY is the last day of classes!!! IM READY!!
