Ten days left in Hungary!
I said good-bye to my friends at the refugee camp, the English Club, my church, my Bible study small group, and the homeless center. It was so strange; the reality of leaving hasn't fully hit yet. I feel happy and sad at the same time. I will miss people and life here, but I'm truly excited about the future as well.
I really learned a lot on internship in Budapest...about relating to people, depending on God, taking initiative, communicating in a foreign language, asking the Lord for anything, teaching English, loving others... It's been good, really good, challenging too, very challenging. :)
Praise: The Lord gave me joy in Hungary. I know He had a purpose for my time here. I learned a few life lessons, and I believe God used me here as well to encourage, love, speak truth to, and bless others.
Another praise: My Mongolian friend Diddy is coming home to Texas with me! She got her visa, and she's flying to Houston a day after I get home. I arrive on Sunday, May 6th, and she comes the next evening. I'm so excited! I really believe God made this trip possible for Diddy. She's wanted to visit America for a long time, and now she's able to!
I'll have two extremely busy weeks in Texas. My baby sister graduates from Texas A&M, and then I'm the maid of honor in her wedding a week later! Family members are flying in, I'll have friends to visit, and Diddy will be with me as well. It's gonna be good. :)
After all the craziness, I go back to Bethany College of Missions for the last summer semester. I'm just thrilled to go back to school...to learn in a classroom setting (and in English, wow!), to laugh and have fun with my classmates, and I'll be able to see and spend time with Jason again! We have a lot of catching up to do; we've been apart for almost a whole year now.
So, thanks for reading. I hope you guys are doing well. Can't wait to see some of you soon!
