| | i haven't been able to get much sleep the past few nights b/c that thing has been chewing through everything! since i got rid of all my accessible food, it ate my friggin disposable chopsticks!! so last night i went to the grocery store and loaded up on rat poison AND mouse traps. i have been avoiding buying poison b/c i didn't want the sucker to die in the wall and rot where i can't find it, but last night i didn't care. i wanted it dead. you shoulda seen me unpacking my poison and traps. it's scary, but i had this evil smile on my face as i was slathering delicious peter pan creamy peanut butter with honey onto the bait spot. i strategically placed my poison-filled boxes in different places, carefully set the traps into two different drawers, and watched my monday night tv shows. (let's not forgot how much of a hypochondriac i am. the whole night i thought i accidentally ate rat poison ><) anyways i went to bed and listened for my little friend to come out to eat. within minutes i hear him scurrying around and then there's a loud noise followed by me laughing with maniacal glee. i got that bastard! grey lightning is no more! i went to the drawer and listened carefully before opening it just in case it set the trap off and was still scurrying around in there. hehehehe it was squeaking and squeaking b/c it was stuck in the trap. it was almost cute enough sounding to make me want to free it, but then i thought about the devastation of my backup ketchup and mayonnaise packets and opened the drawer with much pleasure. sure enough my trap said 'mouse caught!' i had bought one of those high tech traps that it goes in and springs the trap and the trap rotates closed so it can't come out. i just didn't want one of those traditional kinds that decapitates them and gets blood everywhere. PLUS since it's trapped inside this round black container you can pick up the trap and shake the bastard. ahahahahahaha! i know something is wrong with me but i took great pleasure shaking the trap and then listening to see if it was still alive. it sorta bothered me that it wouldn't make any noise after i shook it. anyways i put the trap in a million plastic bags and ran outside to the garbage can and introduced grey lightning to his new home. i still have yet to access whether or not grey lightning had a mrs. grey lightning. i am going to be very zealous in my hunting of them b/c i only have a few winter months left before it's bang bang boogie time! |
