vegas!!...again

it'll be my 3rd trip to vegas in the last 6 years...so every other year at this rate.

i booked a day trip to the grand canyon; the package includes the skywalk, which is exciting yet disturbing.  i'm struggling with the idea of a "man-made horse-shoe like deck" on land that is so historic and sacred.   i like the idea  of being thrilled, looking over rugged mountain tops from 3000-4000 ft high.  i feel uneasy; almost as if i'm breaking a code of ethics, but i obviously have fallen into the commercialized crap, b/c i booked the tour!  i hope its worth it!

decided to give "the vegas strip" a break and veered off to here

ok, its a party hotel, but maybe i'll see some celebs!

Schitzo Bum

My coworker and I decided to head underground our building to DD to get some breakfast.
We were walking back and this crazy lady got up on my face and starting yelling at me
"You hear me! You stole my daughter! You have my daughter, where is she?"...i was like "What the..."
So, i thought if i ignored her she would move on to another person, but she started to follow me!  I yelled back and said some stuff I shouldn't have, but i was in panic.  My coworker got inbetween me and the crazy lady while yelling "OFFICER"...so the cop came over and the lady kept accusing me of "having her daughter".

The officers must know her habits because they told us that she's "ill"....i wasn't physically hurt but it shook me up.

Thank God I was not alone and that a cop was near by

Atlanta, GA & Atlantic City, NJ

My Nahm-Pyun and I went to the Atlanta earlier this week to see this cutie...(she tried to feed herself some yogurt)

Our trip was short, but well worth it.
Pros: better korean food than philly, nicer people, cleaner city
Cons: traffic.  There are 6 lane highways and its bumper to bumper...and they're in the process of adding 2 more lanes...8 lanes!

Prior to Atlanta, we went to Atlantic City and checked out this place.

this was the tiniest crab cake i have seen.

and of course, trying my luck on the slot machine.

430 sq ft.

after living in a spacious suburban home my whole life, living in this tiny apartment is a challenge.
prior to moving in, i had all these ideas to make it more of a "married couples apartment" and make it less of a "bachelor-pad-like" feel.  however, i think the husband will have another year of living in a "manly" apartment due to the smallness of our living space.

issues:
-75% of my shoes are still at my parents house - i have to strategically choose my wardrobe carefully to match my limited shoe collection. - this is stressful.
-the king size bed frame that we bought, along with the matching dresser and bedside tables does not fit in the apartment.
-i'm sitting on plastic neon green chairs for meals at the table.
-golf clubs in each corner of the apartment.
-broken coffee table due to his "practice swings".
-not enough closet space.

ok im going to sit on my green chair and eat dinner...
