kristy again, haha.

i guess much has been happening since the last update. its finals time and im constantly busy. this past week was hectic i'd say. i didnt haveclass monday or tuesday because i took my journalism and poli sci finals on friday. i actually got As on both of them... thank you adderall. ive been working everyday for like 7 hours.. mad money time.

thursday was sean and erica's going away party. fed ex showed up hours late so we ended up being screwed at the end of the day but friends and mi cocina at work made up for it. i went home early because i felt sick.

friday i had fish camp stuff to go to that i had to miss. i wasnt too into the slip n sliding with session A camp anyway. i ate dinner with megan because she needed someone to talk to. then i ran errands and picked up sean to help me put new dishes and such in the new house. we drank and played guess who. samantha came and sean had us go to his house for pancakes. after that, sean and i went to northgate to find jessica's party but they had all left... so we ran into the researchers and then found erica, who we drove home.

saturday was crazy. i got up and got all of my paint stuff together and went to paint my room. the primer was a bitch and i was high all day. finally, jess, matt, and liz came to paint their rooms too, followed by megan and samantha. we had a really fun time. kay, swag, and keely came and visited us throughout the day along with other people. after a while, we went over to swags house where we hung out with lindsay, blake, rebecca, duckie, pete, janeen, motley, and bob. so fun!

today i woke up at 1:45pm... and only because alex called me. i thought it was like 9am but apparently i was wrong! he is all graduated and coming home to austin, which im happy about. we are really proud of him. jared might come in tomorrow and jow wanted me to hang out with all of them but im busy all freaking week, boo! oh well..

i get to see my mom this weekend!

kristy has once again reminded me to blog.

so this weekend was nothing less than spectacular. friday i came into town early and decided to stop A. at book people to buy my mom a birthday present and B. at waterloo records to buy a panic at the disco album. book people went just as planned but waterloo records... did not.

i walk in the place, on the phone with megan as always, and run into this guy who looks so familiar. he was going up to random people and talking to them.. so i thought maybe he worked there but then i thought to maybe- there's no way a waterloo employee looks this familiar. so i think about it a second or two more and realize it's matt nathanson! he comes up to me, says "hey im matt, im playing in like half an hour, you should stick around" and i just smiled and replied, "okay." i went across the street to whole foods for a vitamin water and a potty break and headed back over to hear matt play. i got to see him front and center... and i took a lot of crappy cell phone pictures and even got to talk to him after the show. we talked about how i had been listening for years and about how alex, kayla, and i took a road trip up to oklahoma to see renza and catch his show. he was impressed... and said i was the raddest person hed met all day. i even got a signed cd out of it!

later that night i ate sushi at the new sushi place in lakeway with amanda and megan. good company was always- and the sushi was awesome. after that we drank a little at megans house (amazing, yes?) and payed guesstures with cam and zach.. but that was short lived due to tiredness so we went home and crashed.

saturday morning my dad picked me up and we went to whole foods and had lunch. i fucking love that place, its awesome. after that we went shopping for a while (new shoes!) and he dropped me back at home. my mom and i went to chilis later that evening and then i got to hang out with alex. he came over and my mom got to see him for a few minutes and then we headed to marble slab... and promptly drove to amy's ice cream (support local business, duh!) we sat in the grass and ate and talked for forever, i had forgotten how well we got along and how much i miss him.. hes really one of the greatest friends a girl can have. we talked about life and his is absolutely amazing. he is SO HAPPY- he was absolutely glowing. he has so many goals and so much motivation and a new girlfriend- i blame her for his goodness =)!! good job!

later on we went back to the deen household, mr deen was asleep but i got to see austin and their new dog, sunami. its a damn cute dog.

alex dropped me off and i went and visited kayla and nick for a little bit, it was good to see them. i hadnt seen kayla since december and i hadnt seen nick in like a year and a half, haha.

the next day i woke up and the easter bunny had come! i didnt eat any of the candy though because i always do and then i have a stomach ache all day. i hung out with my mom for most of the day- we went to the grocery store and went to starbucks and had passion teas, so good!

later that day i went back over to the deens and it was just like old times (minus mom). mr deen was being hilarious, gammy and pop were so much fun, and the boys were being boys. alex, of course, is still the well mannered boy of the house. we had so much fun and it really made my weekend. that family means a lot to me- they got me through a lot of shit in high school and theyll probably never know that. it means a lot to me that they still love me and want me to be around. theyll soon have a new daughter and i cant wait to hang out with her too = ).

austin is coming to blinn!

anyway, now im back and im in kind of a funk. i havent gone home much at all this year and i miss my mom a ton. i think thats a huge part of it- and seeing alex makes me miss him a lot too. i also miss the fine city of austin. ill be the first one to say that college station majorly sucks.. DONT LIVE HERE =)

tonight we had crew crush and it was way fun. it was me, chapa, and the boys- we danced all night =)

this weekend liz, jess, and i ventured to houston, texas for a little taiwan love. ken and june harris (liz's parents) have an exchange student living with them and we had to go get her gussied up for her senior prom. Tina Wang- you will live in our jokes forever. we get there and this girl is about 50 pounds and shorter than me... but full of personality. i beilize liz said it best when she noted that "if tina turned out to be a dud, this weekend would have sucked." we took tina out to dinner and she ordered a piece of cake about as big as her head. we searched around town for the perfect prom lipgloss and magazines that she could get hair ideas from.. and then we toured north shore.

liz lives in a part of houston called north shore. they have a kickass football team, the biggest school ive ever seen.. and metal dectors. liz informed us that at north shore, she was th minority. we went home, watched proof, and went to sleep. i got top bunk in Zach!'s room

saturday we got up at the early hour of 11am.. tona showed me a video of her brother singing sweet home alabama in taiwan. awkward? yes. liz took us to berryhill cafe, where she works when shes at home. tres leches cake = good. jessica felt at home, it being mexican food and all. tina had never had mexica food until she got to houston and reported that she was a fan. we went to the galleria and got tina's hair and makeup done.. she looked really pretty. we got passion sweet tea from starbucks as well. i love passion sweet tea..

i had to get earrings through tinas ears.. that she had gotten pierced like 2 weeks before. i thought she was going to cry all of her makeup off but it turned out alright. we decided she needed pictures taken and she wanted them to be funny.. so we got one of her beating me with a baseball bat... her choking liz.. her pretending to fill a ar up with gas... i think we were out there for like an hour trying to be funny. we succeeded id say.

after we shipped tina off to the prom, we met liz's friends and went to the sneak preview of Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas (said with an accent, of course) surpirsingly, it was an amazing movie. jared worchel called me and asked if beowulf and the canterbury tales was the same thing. we laughed... a lot. after the movie we went to star pizza and i had a delicious salad... then we had to make our costumes for the fish camp DP that was the following day.

liz and i went as indians and our costumes were a hit. if you havent seen it, ill show it to you. think bright colorful feathers and brown paper.

the DP was a good time- but pretty boring. i love my dg parter jared.. he is so cute! swag came and talked to us as a co chair switch- that was pretty funny.

afterwards i got a quick dinner with megan and samantha and stayed up all night writing a paper that totally sucked ass. sorry dr walraven..

monday i was pretty dang tired from the paper writing.. but i convinced ajay to wear my indian costume at work. monday night erin and i spent a solid 4 hours in the emergency room. her legs and feet were swollen a good 3 times more than they should have been. it turns out she had been sitting down a lot on a field trip and all of her fulid just settled in her bottom half.

yesterday we got halle berry's cat's blood in the mail at work. that was almost as exciting as lyle lovett being in the vet hospital and meagan, josh, and i going on a mision to find him the other day. jessica invited us to her 3 kegger on saturday- sean is excited but to me, that sounds like its going to get busted. tuesday night i was studying for poli sci and liz called saying i needed to go to jess' house to see kay.. so they picked me up (because my car got "towed" to firestone yesterday) and i hangout/ drank with matt liz jess kay keely and swag. i didnt get any studying done but we had a good time watching 8 mile, haha. i missed all of my 2 classes today... oops.

im going back to room cleaning, clothes washing, and studying

oh shit!

can you believe ive have a blog for 4 years and completely forgot about it for the last two months? ridiculous. i was away message stalking people earlier and noticed that blake had decided to get himself a blog and that is what reminded me of this. blake is quite a bit funnier than i am, however.. making my blog seemingly less cool. he can make fun of democrats on his but ill take care of the real matters.

john edwards doesnt shoot people.

anyway- christmas break was fantastic... hawaii was amazing. im not going into full detail because ive already told everyone all about it. seeing jared in his element was absolutely fantastic =)

last week was a nice week i'd say. motley, liz, and i spent hours making "magnolia cupcakes" for kay and swag and took them up to review (along with a hot and ready) for them to have for dinner. they were rather appreciative and it was fun. we got to meet their partners and i actually knew kays partner from when i was a freshmen in fish camp. small world, eh? everybody wins. thursday night i stayed in with megan and studied for my poli sci test which u got an 82 on. suck.. i could have done better i do believe. on friday, liz and i went to TOGA SCEPTER and it was a blast. we were definitely sitting in her room until 1am playing bejeweled untl blake and swag convinced us to come. it was fun... elizabeth harris took care of those pictures on facebook, as always.

friday was woke up at blakes house.. more like i woke up and duckie and liz werent sleeping because they got bed edges. blake and i got the best sleep in the house. samantha picked us up and took us to my car and we ate arbys at duckie and swags house. we got to meet swag and lindsay's baby dwarf hamster, hickory.

went home, slept, went to chilis with liz, jess, and jess' friend hailey and then to walmart to buy things for jessica's birthday party. we got to swags house and decoreated the place like mexico. it was AMAZING!! we went home to get ready and then came back for the party.. our boy brian nelson came home to us!

then samantha got hot pocket on my bed. boooo! haha

yesterday was school then work. today was work and then test in english which i have no idea how i did on... hopefully i did well?! i ran into liz and blake on campus and blake fixed my phone (yess!) and then we both ran ino one of our fish. small world.. again. tonight i might go to jessica's birthday dinner at cheddars... but i really need to study.

this week holds: la bodega with megan and casey, PROJECT RUNWAY (ive seen the NYC fashion week pictures already.. amazing.), music test, dying ajays hair fish camp red. speaking of- swag says hes 100 percent sure ill get into a camp based on the fact that people keep asking him about me. im still scared.

also, we might go to new york for spring break- we will see.

havent done this in a while..

i have a final today that i havent really studied for. rebecca and i decided sleep last night would be more beneficial... its not till 3 so we can study this morning. yesterday i woke up to go to work and found ice ALLL over my car. so it took me half an hor but i got it all off and went. all of the techs flipped out when i sowed up because amanda had caled in saying she wasnt coming. i played with ryan and ajay all day. we even drew a new, improved, gi lab party invitation. i went to bed last night at like 11 nd woke up at 830.. i really needed that considering i didnt go to sleep at all on sunday night and have been draging ever since. time to study! austin cd release party later?
