The Dangling Conversation

by Simon and Garfunkel

It's a still life water color

a now late afternoon.

As the sun shines through the curtain lace

And the shadows wash the room.

And we sit and drink our coffee

Casting our indifference like shells upon the shore

You can hear the ocean roar...

In the dangling conversation

And the superficial sighs

The borders of our lives.

And you read you Emily Dickenson

And I, my Robert Frost.

And we note our place with bookmarkers

That measure what we have lost.

Like a poem poorly written

We are verses out of rhythm, couplets our of rhyme

In snycopated time

In the dangling conversation

And the superficial sighs

Are the borders of our lives.

Yes, we speak of things that matter

With words that must be said

Can analysis be worthwhile?

Is the theatre really dead?

And now the room has softly faded

And i only kiss your shadow

I cannot feel your hand

You're a stranger now onto me

Lost in the dangling conversation

And the superficial sighs

In the borders of our lives.

This was discussed in my English class. I so love my teacher. She never fails to inspire me on how she teaches Literature. I want to be an English teacher in Literature someday. haha! loser.

Be inspired. :)

Yes, it has been a month since i last updated this. A lot has happened. And i mean a lot.

Positive. Negative. Happy. Sad. Boring. Whatever.

So its like that.

Haha! toodles :)

Little Wonders

A kiss to send us off

so happy birthday to me. i just turned 19 and i'm already thinking about my age next year.

damn. a year from now i will be saying goodbye to my teen years and hello to the real world. (like there's a big difference to it. haha)

scary. harsh. cruel.

napakapessimistic ko naman.

but then again,

gifts. smiles. surprises.

and most especially i have around me the people i love and care for so much.

oh well.

i shall sing this song to myself.

let it go,
let it roll right off your shoulder
don't you know
the hardest part is over
let it in,
let your clarity define you
in the end
we will only just remember how it feels

our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain.

i sound so bitter yet it is the circle of life and...

 life goes on.

wahahaha.

this is crap.

goodmorning!

Kira-Kira.

the place we stayed in was very nice. it had a nice view and it had lots of plants and flowers. how the place was designed and made was very impressive.

saw my cousins who came home from the states. got to bond with them too! nose bled mehn. haha

got home around 7:30pm.

before going home went to greenhills to have our late merienda there at conti's, even saw nikki. oh and by the way, my skin got burnt so bad! :( but i really had fun!

I'll see you soon..

People come and go.

You meet some and you lose some, they say.

But in between the hello’s and goodbye’s

Are laughter’s and smiles kept in the heart.

Like a bittersweet symphony.

Love is like a rainbow.

Colorful. Shining. Shimmering.

It’s like spring, where the flowers are in bloom.

Butterflies. Birds. Bees.

The beauty of it all.

Life as always.

Finding the answers to all questions.

It is the purpose and meaning.

The deeper you are, the stronger you’ll be.

Feeling of well-being. Euphoria.

Life goes on, but time can't take away all the good memories we had with each other.

I'll be missing you everyday Bettabuddy. I know i'll be seeing you soon!
