went to renyou's office
as we had some time to kill before our midnite movie.
loved his office.
arty design pple always keep their space so simple yet so...
hmmmmm

xia ying was happily playing with renyou's imac cammie thing,
pretty cool i gotta say
& its weird his office is kinda slanted.
i was almost feeling sick.


anyway this is the day where we threw
an early bday surprise dinner for ryan,
was really glad that he had no clue at all.

i had so much trouble being sneaky & trying to ensure he didn't suspect a thing.
told a whole lot of lies obviously & i did it well.
*gives myself a pat* >> good job. hahaz..

but really gotta thank all his friends for making it possible, esp elgin.
he really helped me get everyone together.

Hey PEOPLE,

To begin,
Juz wanna wish all u guys a very Happy New Year.
May you have a blessed year ahead.

I know my blog has been real quiet,
but i have been really caught up with stuff
& just cannot find the time to sit down to make updates.

Anyway nothing much have been happening except
 work & eat, eat & sleep..
 
nah,, actually its not that routine.

In fact i really enjoyed 2006 alot !!
1/2 spent in Sydney, the other in Spore.
Itz been an amazing time back there in Spore,
alot has happened, mostly goood...
been really loved & cherished.

everyday is an exciting day for me
& i believe 2007 is gonna be a blast !!!

Today being the 1st of Jan it started meaningfully !!!
Its our Davidsons D&D (Awards night)....

Theme : "BACK TO SCHOL"

We all dressed up though i look pretty much the same when i was in secondary..
pretty much the same!!!
*no signs of ageing at all

hahaha but seriously i think i can still pull of being 16 ?!??! yes ?!!?
i think so.

The fun part was seeeeeeeing the "older" generation trying to loooook young !!!
They put in so much effort with tying their hair,
no make up at all..
itz just hilarious !!!




Anyway i could not believe how detailed some folks were....
you bet they missed their high school days..
they brought their really old school back packs,

lunch boxes (hello kitty),

zero-point
(those u kinda try to jump over without touching the band),

matchboxes with spiders in them,

jotter book,

five stones,

chinese chess,

recorder
( i remember i hated it so i "chao" music class most of the time)

toothbrush
(Jac says after recess gotta brush teeth),

Orange Comb
(those pointy ah beng ones stuck in the back pocket),

cane
(of coz to whack us all),

bata shoes.

seriously there's alot more i am way to tired to remember now
but not all i can relate too....

Generation Gap !!!
hahahahz...

But its pretty cool...
those were the good old carefree days.
in fact i kinda miss wearing my KC uniform...
Its been awhile since i din have to think what should i put before i head out..

Its like there are heaps of convent girls,
coz most of my pals are in convent uniforms..
but den only Katong Comvent rox..
so too bad for the other school !!
*just joking"



Well apart from all,
the food was good but fine dining makes me hungry..
the portions are tiny !!
i need my supper..
too bad everyone's asleep by now.
gotta starve till tomorrow then..

God is so amazing

i am down with a flu,
throat is getting to me too.
so in any case when i woke up,
ryan brought me to have teochew porridge.

that place is sooo packed with cars.
its like geylang where u gotta park along the roads,
parking is just so impossible.
but Thank God we got a space really quick,
in fact 2-3cars left as we waited.

The problem is we realized that we had no parking coupons.
So okok we gotta go somewhere garb some coupons.

Suddenly i saw this guy beside me waving to me,
so i told Ryan, and i guess we were blocking his way..
true enough we were..

BUT BUT BUT

the super amazing thing is....

he wound down his window,
looked at me & passed me his used coupon.

i stared at it and found it to be exactly the time when we were there.

Basically it was an unused coupon
Wooooo Hoooooo...
we got a coupon !! 

We had quite a number of dishes, let me count...
6 to be exact.

for a moment, we thought it was too much but
was reassured by our hungry stomach 
thats it wasnt an uphill task.

after which, we took a little ride to jalan kayu to have a cuppa tea.
ginger tea but it wasnt tasting very delicious.

we then adventured towards the new IKEA.
the logistic is terrible!
too much crowd to handle.

we then head home for a short rest,
i managed to read 12 pages of notes before restin,
in hope of sleepin the illness away.

our dinner was a simple fare of vegetable and beancurd.

now we're back and drinkin up our last bit of home-made barley.
yummy.. 

Halloween + B'day Bash = Lotsa FUN !

today i woke up feeling great.
Itz of of those days where u feel that,
"hey maybe my life is not that bad after all.."
obviously itz a cycle for me,
the good & the bad days.
i wish the good ones would stay forever but we all know thatz fairy tale.

oh well,
after spending some time with grand ma.
taking her out to eat &
jus being there for her.
hope it made her day.
she's been complaining about how i am too busy for her now.
the truth is i still love her alot,
in fact more !
so these few days i'm putting in the effort to drop by her place
to visit her whenever i can even if its just for a moment.

in the arvo
i was slacking at home with my boy
& itz so weird coz we were watching a Halloween Movie.
i felt kinda lame coz we were kinda gonna celebrate halloween later.
But oh well,
all in good fun.
just that i know i would freak myself out over nothing later tonight !

a day i just wanna slack away

but i gotta accept that not everything happens immediately.
