| If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want (tastefully done) but it has to be made up. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your Xanga and be surprised about what people don't actually remember about you! | | |
| Hey Kiddos,
All right I know it has been a long time since I posted. A lot has happened in the past few weeks. I got sick the week before Christmas and I am still getting over it. A week ago today my grandfather (dad's dad) had eye surgery. My brother and I had to pick him up from the hospital and take him straight to the doctor's office. We dropped him off and I stayed with him until my mother got off of work (this was her last week of work before the break). Everything was going all right I was still not feeling great but my grandfather got it in his head that he wanted to have his car backed into his garage so he tries to do it himself. This man who has a patch on his eye and cannot see out of the other one backed his car into the garage and knocked the passanger side mirror off of his car. My mom had to take her planning time from work to go make sure that he is all right and to get what he needed to get done.
Well, Thursday my mom goes to work as usual execpt I get a call from her around 11:15am in tears saying that my brother and I need to go get her because she fell in the parking lot at the mall (her students go there and receive on the job training sort of). She ended up having to go by ambulance but we get to the hospital and stayed pratically all afternoon there. She broke her left wrist. We get home and at around 8:00 that night she was losing feeling in her fingers from the cast. So we took her back to the emergancy room and they had to redo the cast because it was done wrong the first time. The funny thing was that the person who did it the first time was training two other people on how to put a cast on the patient. We go tomorrow to the ortho surgeon to see what he is going to have to do. Please keep her in your prayers. Over all we had a good Christmas with a bit of drama with my brother's g/f but it is all good now and things are back to normal (at least I hope!)
I hope you all had a good Christmas and may you have a good New Year. I hope you all get what you need from the coming year. God Bless.
Love,
Amanda | | |
