las vegas!!!

las-vegas-strip-south

spring break was amazing! and las vegas is pretty much the most fun city ever! we had a crazy flight in with all kinds of turbulence, but it was totally worth it! we stayed at the MGM Grand which was HUGE and had more starbucks then college station! we ate at amazing places like 'wichcraft and craftsteak...MMM!

we saw the folies bergere: Folies1 which was really cool! i really wanted to see a typical las vegas showgirl show, and we did! topless too!  but it was no biggie! (seriously. )

we went to the bellagio and saw the impressionist paintings in the museum which was really cool...i really liked seeing REAL artwork...especially van gogh!

we also saw the world's largest chocolate fountain which was cooooool!

the highlight was most definitely the celine dion show! WOW! it was so amazing and we had the best seats in the whole place! i made actual eye contact w/ celine! no joke! it was just so freaking cool! it wasn't a concert, it was really a show! like 50 good dancers and really cool scenery and it was just AWESOME!

we also shopped a lot...all in all it was an amazing time and there is nothing else i would have rather done!

then i came home to relax and spend time with my cooper! it's ridiculous how much i love that dog...He had his first birthday on st. patrick's day and we went shopping at petsmart where he got all sorts of treats and then we went to starbucks where they gave him a treat...he's just so spoiled!

my uncle john came for the weekend too which was interesting!

i also saw failure to launch twice...it's so good! and there's a lot of pretty boyness which doesn't hurt!

then i left for cs on monday morning which was sad because my dog tried everything he could to go with me or keep me from going...needless to say i cried...and my dad just told me he ran around the house all nite last nite looking for me and slept in my bed...he's the sweetest puppy!

i love spring break! is it summer yet??

funny roads

Farfrompoopen Road, the only road to Constipation Ridge, lost to Divorce Court and Psycho Path, which placed No. 1 in an online poll of the nation's wildest, weirdest and wackiest street names.

Mitsubishi Motors sponsored the poll on the Web site www.TheCarConnection.com and more than 2,500 voters cast their ballots during a week of voting that ended this month. Winners were announced Friday.

"Our readers really stepped up with some insane street names," said Web site publisher Paul Eisenstein. "Our panel had a difficult time narrowing several hundred down to the 10 our readers voted on.

"But we learned a lot about the byways of this country, not to mention the collective sense of humor of city planners everywhere."

In first place was Psycho Path in Traverse City, Mich., followed by Heather Highlands, Pa.'s, Divorce Court in second and Tennessee's Farfrompoopen Road in third. Eisenstein said all the roads were verified, although some are private and hard to find.

The complete top 10 list included:

10. Tater Peeler Road in Lebanon, Texas

9. The intersection of Count and Basie in Richmond, Va.

8. Shades of Death Road in Warren County, N.J.

7. Unexpected Road in Buena, N.J.

6. Bucket of Blood Street in Holbrook, Ariz.

5. The intersection of Clinton and Fidelity in Houston

4. The intersection of Lonesome and Hardup in Albany, Ga.

3. Farfrompoopen Road in Tennessee (the only road up to Constipation Ridge)

2. Divorce Court in Heather Highlands, Pa.

1. Psycho Path in Traverse City, Mich.

???

i don't feel close to anyone anymore...i feel like an outsider in my apartment, and then everyone else i know is either far away or has other friends...my roommates were the people i was closest to in the world, but now i feel like i don't belong....and it's just going to get worse because i'm going home this summer where NO ONE will be...and then i'm momving into an apartment all alone...i'm gonna be one of those people who die and no one realizes until there's a horrible smell...i just feel like i'm on the outside of life...just sort of a specator rather than a player...and when i'm optimistic, i can make myself think that i can change this, make it better...but i realize that there's nothing i can do to make people like me...

i just don't know what to do...
