sure you could clearly tell it was about 50/50

SO... half were their to see kill hanna and the other half for msi. of course there was the expected entourage of 13 year old girls who probably wouldn't have been there had their mothers seen their choice of apparel, "gownless evening straps" as my mimere would say. but the thing that threw me off were the ones there who are old enough to understand that it's not the 70's anymore but in fact, 2006 and nothing, nothing, nothing is shocking anymore. my concern is, how they can go through all the effort to dye and spike their mohawks or put on their crummy black eyeliner and find it in no way a contradiction to their "we don't care, fuck em' all" attitude. sure, you can dress like sid, but it's no secret that you care about what everyone who walks past you thinks. nothing says "arrest me" like a car full of punks with their heads turned carefully not to crush their do's, or, "hey mom and dad! don't trust me!" whose life is this improving again?
then it all became so clear. i'm the asshole there. i guess i'm just the angry 15 year old i once was. i felt a lot like this lady who, congratulations, is on the first page of the google results for "old lady".
