We can finally tell people that my big brother is gonna be a daddy. Gosh, that sounds weird.

Well, we set a date. We get the goats on June 30. YAY!!!!

I feel as if I owe ya'll an update.

In the next couple of days we should be calling our goat breeder and finding out when we can come get our goats for next year. And since I've been thinking about calling him, I've been thinking about my goat from last year, Bullet. I've been trying to remember what he looked like. And then I remembered I haven't put pictures on here to let ya'll see him. Not that you want, but you're goin to whether you want to or not.

Isn't he pretty??? He was a really good lookin goat. Not just his color but the way he was built is really cool.
The judge said he is, or was, structurally sound. He just didn't have enough meat on him to be the Grand Champion.

I hope ya'll don't mind, but I feel like telling a story. And I happen to have a really funny one. It wasn't funny at the time, but the more I think about it, it really is.

Here goes

A really nice family(the F's) that I baby-sit for pretty often, asked me(after they talked to my parents) if I would like to ride their son's horse for them, and I very happily said "YES!!!" They said that the mare hasn't been ridden in about six months, that she can be a little hard headed sometimes, and they wanted someone a little bigger on her till she got back in shape and was used to being ridden again. By bigger I mean taller, not wider.
So I went over to there house on Sunday afternoon so Mr. Bob could show me how he wanted everything done. Since that was a success, I told them I would probably be able to ride her on Monday. They say that its fine, and I go home.

So Monday comes, and I get my school done by lunch. I ask my Mom if its alright if I go ride and she says it is. So I go. There was a a chance of rain that morning but it never came, so I was hoping that meant it wasn't going to rain that afternoon. I thought wrong.

I got there and caught her without much trouble. I brushed her and saddled her, it started getting a little darker. I didn't want to catch her and saddle her and then have to put her up, so I figured I'd ride her for a little bit. I rode her till it started thunderin(which was about twenty minutes) and decided it was enough. Considering the fact the she hasn't been ridden in about six months, and I wasn't in the best of shape for riding a horse. So I cool her out and get off of her. As soon as I close the gate to the arena, I hear the rain fall on the tin roof of the F's garage. I look over at the garage and I can see the rain coming. It was really cool looking, and then it hit me. It wasn't cool any more, it was freezing. So I hurry over to the tack room, and unsaddle Cheyenne(the horse) as fast as I can. I kinda just put everything on the tack room floor, trying to get it out of the rain. After I unsaddled her I put her in the pasture. I then looked over at the truck, and see that I had left the windows down. OOPS!!!!

So I ran over there, started it, and roll the windows up. After that I ran back to the tack room and finished putting the saddle back where it belongs, and the bridle on the rack. I waited in the tack room for about five minutes hoping the rain would let up at least enough to where I could run to the truck without getting drenched, again. But it didn't, so I said what the heck I'm already wet and so is the truck. So I took off runnin. And then I went home.

End of adventure.
