  • 5,000 question survey, Pt. I

Because I'm bored, want to post something, and think it might be interesting to read later...Part I of the 5,000 question survey...

    1. Who are you?
a girl that's lost in the world

    2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?
i'm a girl.  i'm lost.  and i'm still in this thing called the world.

    3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing?
honestly, it is rare to find me filling out things like this.  i'm usually doing something.

    4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).
right.  so i'm out of school.  but the last school i was in was not your normal school.  and the last class i had was butler's table service, or whatever we might have called it.  and in that class, we had table service and wines.  and i liked wines more than i liked the table service?  i don't know.  i didn't like that my car was broken into and almost made me late to class.

    5. What is your biggest goal for this year?
    to be needed.

    6. Where do you want to be in 5 years?
if the republicans win this next election, i want to be in some other country, far away from here.  if the democrats win, then i would want to be right where i am, happy.

    7. What stage of life are you in right now?
the 'i-have-no-fucking-clue-what-i-am-supposed-to-be-doing' stage, which conveniently came right after the 'i-just-graduated-from-college' stage.

    8. Are you more child-like or childish?
i would like to say child-like.  i'm not childish, but i'd also say that i'm not child-like.  i wasn't one of those kids that actually got a childhood, so it's hard for me to say.

    9. What is the last thing you said out loud?
"ooooh shit."  no really, i don't know.  that's just my guess, because my back is seriously hurting today.

    10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?
perhaps, i don't know.  amos lee - careless.  actually, i just went to pandora, and that was the first song that played.  but it is rather fitting.

    11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?
    negative.

    12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
my life tends to do what i wish it would not.

    13. Does time really heal all wounds?
i'm going to say no.  i have this wound on my head that has been there for over two months, and it still hasn't healed.  now tell me, of all things that time should heal... shouldn't actual wounds be on that list?

    14. How do you handle a rainy day?
i love me some rainy days.

    15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?
hahaha, definitely having to sort out tangled holiday lights.  ok, maybe i was kidding.

    16. How is your relationship with your parents? it's getting there.  my dad and i are good friends.  my mom and i may never have the relationship that i would like.  i'd liken my relationship with my dad to rory's relationship with her mom.  and i'd liken my relationship with my mom to lorelai's relationship with her mom..
Will you miss them when they are gone? i'm currently living with them.  so yes.

    17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?
sometimes i would like to be able to say no to that.

    18. What is the truest thing that you know?
that a true friendship should be able to outlast a nuclear holocaust.

    19. What did you want to be when you grew up?
alive.  i always wanted to be a cook, and i thank my dad for that.

    20. Have you ever been given a second chance?
a second chance for what?  certainly i have been given a second chance in many regards.  i've been given another chance to live, more than once.  and i don't think i've done with it what i should have, but i've still got time to make things right.

    21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
i'm more of a giver.  and sometimes i wish it were not the case.

    22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?
    i do.

    23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
i've had surgery on my head.  i've had a root canal.  i've had strep throat.  but i'd still say the most painful thing is the unrelenting pain of a broken heart.

    24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
losing the man that i was going to marry.  and that kind of pain turns physical very quickly.

    25. Who have you hugged today?
    my pillow[s].

    26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
    today?  nobody yet.

    27. Do you have a lot to learn?
i have a whole new world to learn.

    communication, honesty, understanding.

    31. What 3 things do you want to do before you die?

    A travel the world

B have at least five true friends for life

    C make a difference

    32. What three things would you want to die to avoid doing?

    A uhh.

    B errm

C honestly, nothing.  i'd rather live through something really hard and trying than die to escape it.

    33. Is there a cause you believe in more than any other cause?
i believe in honesty as a cause.  and i think our politicians could learn a lot if they would just tell the truth at all costs.

the un-united states of america.  our president is Bush Jr., but he's no leader.

If you could say any sentence to the current leader of your country what would it be?
i would have too much research to do before i would be able to properly communicate with our leader, because i don't think he even understands baby-speak.  so i would probably just skip it and do something more important with my time.

    38. What's your favorite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night?
dvr.  because it's revolutionized the way we watch tv.  and i really don't watch "live" tv anymore because i don't like commercials.  whahaaaa.

that depends on if i had previous knowledge that it would happen.  first, i would have a refrigerator installed on said elevator.  then i would put food and water in said fridge.  i would also have a bathroom installed.  then i would bring books with me.  probably a few long books.  and a pillow.  yeah.  really, and then i'd use the emergency phone, and make the people on the other end tell me why it was going to take a week to get me out of there.  not that i would mind, because i would be set.

What this means is they stand in a little tube and their molecules are deconstructed and sent to another tube somewhere else where they are reassembled. Is the person who gets beamed the same person on both ends?
i'm lost.  i'd say the person on the other end would be the same person but with one more memory.  making it a different person, but still the same.  the same as i'm not the same person i was yesterday, even though i am the same.

  • amos lee - supply and demand.

Somethin’ gotta give with the way I’m livin’
    Seems I’m gettin’ down everyday
The more I strive, the less I’m alive
And it seems i’m gettin’ further away

Oh well all my superstitions and my crazy suspicions
Of the people that I care about
I been doin’ more screamin’ than i been doin’ dreamin’
And I think it’s time I figured it out

Yeah baby I need a plan, oh to understand
That life ain’t only supply and demand

Well I been goin’ joggin’ in the park after dark
Draggin’ ’round with me my ball and chain
Took southern skies to make me realize
That I’m causin’ myself this pain

Well a woman that I’m lovin’ yeah I’m pushin’ and shovin’
Getting further on by the day
And I can’t understand how the heart of this man
Ever let it end up this way

Yeah baby I need a plan, oh to understand
That life ain’t only supply and demand

When the road gets dark and lonesome dear
    You can find me here
But honey you don’t know where I am
    You need a friieend yeeaahh

Life ain’t easy in fact I know it’s sleazy
When you’re the big man in town
    Shakin’ religions and makin’ decisions
You never get slow on down

Well your wife and your baby you tell them yeah well maybe
    I’ll meet y’all at a weekend resort
Put your eyes on the prize and you can realize
That your little girl’s life’s so short

Brother you need a plan, oh to understand
That life ain’t only supply and demand
Yeah sister, you need a plan, oh to understand
That life ain’t only supply and demand

Hey, you better figure it out now
You know you ain’t comin’ back down, yeah
You better figure it out now
You know you ain’t comin’ back down
