| umm,
wow
it's been a LONG time since i last posted.
i really don't use my xanga much anymore, but for those of you here i think that i at least owe you this much:
I'm not at the honor academy anymore, I left voluntarily, and if you have honest questions, i'll answer them, but if you just want to jump on my back about it, i really don't want to talk.
other than that things are fine.
peace

| So. here i am, at the honor academy. I've learned so much, and had some REALLY interesting phone conversations. There's far too much to post, so I've found one thing that i, and a few other people up in the outpost found rather funny. That would be the number of crickets on campus. Specifically, Morris Hall (since that's were i live. I can't speak for the other halls) They are everywhere. Not the black shiny ones we have back where i come from. There are different. I haven't gotten close enough to tell how, but they are different. I keep wishing i had my dog here. She chases crickets, hunts them down, and then tortures them to death. My best friend once killed one with Axe Phoenix while i was on the phone with him. The cricket died...and then he's like...aww, man i can't believe i wasted axe on that! It was dead. But at least it smelled good. A girl in the dorm sprayed one with the mosquito repellant. Then covered it with a garbage can. My friend Squeaky felt bad for the cricket. She took the garbage pail off, and carried the cricket outside. It's leg fell off. This alarmed Squeaky, but not nearly as much as it did when its head fell off. So, Squeaky and I decided...it's like a plague! They are everywhere! Maybe it's a God thing.... LET MY PEOPLE GO!!!!!!!!!! lol j/k yeah. We had fun talking about the crickets. Oh, the life of an intern. laters. jess | | |
| back home...for eight more days, at leastahh so i'm back from volunteering, and we just got our pc back from the shop, had some nasty bugs on there. Volunteering was a blast, and it's 26 days until i'm an intern! And in eight days, i'm headed to San Diego, and then to Tijuana for my missions trip! I'm excited...but just now i'm a bit under the weather. Soooo tired....i'm going to go lay down as soon as i'm off here. But good news..I got my braces off today! It feels sooo weird, but it's a good weird. I'd say more, but i don't think my brain is currently functioning at its highest capacity.

| trialsWow. How do i condense what's been happening lately? Because i'm on two opposite ends of the spectrum at once. 1) I am really really really MAD that my parents are trying to take away the best friend i have EVER had, and the most freakin awesome best friend anyone could ever ask for. He knows everything about me, and he's STILL my friend. He's like my other half, and they are trying to take that away. and 2) tomorrow morning i am on a plane to TX to volunteer. Oh yeah. So, on one end, i'm really upset, and on ther other, i'm really really psyched. So yeah.
I know this is a short entry, but that's all I have time for, and that's whats going on. If you remember to, pray for me and my friend. I don't think we're doing anything wrong. But pray that if we are, God will show us.
peace, for you at least, since there isn't much here,

| mingos, and the word daveyHey! So yeah, it's been a while since I updated, but I think you'll like this post.
I've been doing a fundraiser, (yes, all you teen mania people, feel free to use this idea). So. I am doing a flamingo fundraiser. We flock someones yard. For us to move them, they pay the ransom (an amount of their choice, a donation) and they get to tell us where they flamingos go next, and leave a note on the back of that person's flier. It's very cool, God is really blessing it, and people love it. So, here is a picture of my wanderning friends: 'mingos in transport.
Yes. I love it. Anyway, i started with ten, and b/c of a differnet sending request, i bought four more (all my store had, or any other around here, in fact) and in a week i may be splitting into two groups of seven (he had a delayed request, and we didn't want to leave them in his yard for a whole week) But yeah, if you want the ransom note, just email me or leave a comment, and you can see what i said.
68 days until honor academy!!!!!
And, the history of the word 'davey!' If you hang around me or my friends for very long, you will hear the word 'davey'. If that happens to be your name, please accept my apologies. I don't know why we say 'davey' except one of my friends started saying it one day, and it caught on. Davey is basically an all-purpose word. For instance, here are some ways i've used, 'davey!'. Drop something. davey. surprised. Davey! something smells bad, oh davey. You just need something to say. davey. yes. It's cool. And yes, i know my friends and i are crazy. You have no idea how much.
And!!!! I bought a plane ticket to volunteer at TM this summer! Oh yes! I'm so excited. See ya there linds!
peace (and mingos)
