| | My incredibly smooth life has been somewhat tumultuous of late.
Tumultuous means being out of school for the middle half of the day to
be at the doctor with my sister. Tumult is decidedly upon me when,
within one week, I skip a day and a half of work (a rarity, for those who don't know me) because I'm sick.
Tumultuousness consists of running someone to the ER at 11:30 PM. Tumult would be a good
word for several other, more significant things that have happened
within the last week. However, being a sensible person, I keep those
off the Internet! (No jumping to conclusions allowed, especially
conclusions involving my boyfriend.) Oh, things are still quite smooth
in a comparative sense. I'm thankfully for odd tumultuous times,
because they are full of opportunities for humility and growth.
Additionally, they can be great scope for the imagination!
Other things remain unchanged. Times of fun and silliness with my
boyfriend. Crazy little girls at Sunday School. Spending Sunday with
friends (today being an abundant example). Random springtime cold
spells in Tennessee and covering the baby plants and praying that God
won't freeze (or even frost) "everything" to death this year. Taking
hot fresh bread with its beautiful golden brown crust out of the oven.
Life is good. I pity anyone who doesn't know it.
