Tips
If the customer says I'm on
a diet…….. You can say “our new Cartwheels and lemon Pastry Crèmes are low fat
and the best choice for weight watchers.”
When talking to the customer
always introduce yourself, be polite, tell them what troop your from, and why
you’re selling cookies (ex: me and my troop are trying to sell cookies this
year so this summer we can go on a trip together possibly a cruise), tell them
about the 8 different types of cookies especially the new ones and which ones
are your favorite. Make sure you tell them how much they cost and when they
will be delivered (Jan 3). Oh wear something that indicates girl scouts or your
vest and don’t forget to always say THANK YOU and smile, even if they don’t buy.
If you’re selling at your
parents work take a note card write a little about yourself and why you are
selling and possibly put a picture on the note card! Remember its your
responsibility to sell cookies NOT YOUR PARENTS!
When accepting checks
1. Checks are to be made
payable to “Girl Scouts”
2. Customer needs to write
one of the following on the checks:
a. Social Security #
b. Drivers license #
c. Birth Date including year
Goals!
I would like for everyone to
sell 200 boxes of cookies this year but you all must sell at least 125 boxes.
If you want to go on a trip, and I know I do!
Everyone must set up one
booth sale. It could be at your church, during a sporting event like a soccer
game or basketball game, or it could even be at a store if you get the managers
approval first. I will provide the cookies for the booth sales all I need form
you is the time and place.
Ok girls remember to work
hard and sell hard so we can make some money this year!
