#1 lesson learned in 2006: taken from my conference blog's "final thought"

"i realize now, after a long time, that i just have to be chosen for certain things. you can't be chosen all the time. it's just not right. and, of course, change is inevitable. and, going against the libermann catchphrase, sometimes you just need to change with change. being constant all the time won't get us anywhere. though, we should stay constant in terms of what we believe in. it does suck, however, when you finally move along, and at the same time, another has moved along, too. what can you do but continue to live life, and patiently wait to be chosen?"

hey, i remember this! >> "nearly losing my purse forever...then, finding it in the NEON!" >>  we prayed, and you found it! =)

and isn't it funny that when you look back on it all, that God has his funny little way of producing the right timing to choose you. preparing you and such beforehand. all that matters at that time is that we choose him right afterwards. once we do that, there's no limit with what he can do with us, and no limit to what miracles we'll witness in our lives, and in others' lives, too. and so when you look back again, you realize what great genius God had planned for from the start. Therefore, the "constant in the midst of (all) change" is himself, and (as you said) what we believe in, who we work for, and the fact that we have a relationship with him that he wants to grow with us.

happy '07, sarah!
