In a world of mascaras...

Today I realized something. I was blessed. I spend a lot of time thinking about my imperfections, and guess what? I have great eye lashes! They're long, thick, dark, naturally curled. Everyone I look, everyone is obsessing over mascara. I never got it. I have a tube that I like. I picked it up one day and stuck with it. I don't even use it that much. I have another secret. I have never curled my eyelashes either. All these beauty products and I have only tried one mascara, and I do not own an eyelash curler. So now, I have to get on that! I am going to go buy a Shu Uemura eyelash curler that people swear by. Oh, and some diorshow mascara while I'm at it. I'm drawn to the new Chanel mascara too, the vibrating one! isn't that kind of scary? god! so many mascaras and so little time! And what about colored mascara, I've always thought I would look fabulous in Urban Decays Big fatty colored mascara in black cherry, or something navy. hmmm. wow. anyways, on to the review. I'm going to review my one mascara, which I think is great, but obviously isn't so its so boring and unviberating, and the wand looks normal not huge or round or whatever.

I use Clinique, long pretty lashes mascara in plain black. It makes my lashes look longer, and it doesn't clump. The brush is easily manageable. It does its job. They look long and pretty. Very feminine. It wasn't super expensive either. I don't even remember now, its been a couple months since I bought it. Actually, the mascara gods will shoot me, but its been over 6 months. I think I'm supposed to buy a new one after then. That's BS though, they just want you to spend your money. At least, that's my personal opinions. Well, for anyone, I recommend this mascara. I don't think I'm qualified to talk about mascara though. I lack inexperience in it. Any ones views on this? as anyone tried this product? how about all those fancy mascaras? Gimme some insight!

Estee Lauder: Skin Care

I picked up this new face wash & toner a couple weeks ago. I have been using it not consistently. I am bad about that. The cleanser is Perfectly Clean Splash away foaming cleanser for normal to combination skin. A little of this stuff (I'm talking really little) goes a loooong way. The toner is Perfectly Clean Fresh balancing lotion for normal to combination skin. These products have really kept my future breakouts from becoming real breakouts. When I can feel them beneth my skin, I haven't had one actually become a reality. So far, its going okay with helping the little zits already there, but like I said I haven't been using it consistently enough for that to make a different. I belive you would have to use it day and night for five days before You can tell a big difference. The cleanser doesn't leave my skin oily, it just feels refreshed, and looks brighter thanks to the toner. It doesn't contain alcohol which, is very bad for my skin. Today I got the Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refrinisher. I have been using samples of this after I wash my face, and 10 minutes before I apply my foundation. It leaves my skin silky smooth, and its not tinted even the slightest. My pores looks even and small, and my face looses that reddish color its sometimes gets. I definitly recommed all three products! A!

So, I think I'm going to review a tanning lotion today. Incase anyone was wondering, I tan all the time. I lose my tan late october, and then I start going to the tanning bed, to just get some color on my body. Then In spring, around spring break, I start going to darken up before summer. Then in the summer, I am practically 24/7 tanning. I know, skin cancer, age spots, wrinkles, whatever. I check my moles, i'll use foundation when i'm older and get botex and laser surgery. so HAH! anyways, my first tannning lotion will be one of my favorites....

BYOB bring your own bronze by Caribbean Gold! cheers! It smells good, or atleast not bad. It got my dark. I would suggest this one to people when they first start to get tan, as a starter lotion. It has two bronzers in it I belive so you wont get orange! nothing worse, i know. Its about 20 dollars. At least at my local tanning salon. It doesn't lst very long, because the bottle isn't big and is shaped funny, but I think its worth it.

Have I ever mentioned I love Purple nail polish? Even though I adore summer, thats the one good thing about fall is all the purples coming out. Wow! OPI is having a France collection that releases in August that will have a couple purples in it. yess!

Wensday night, I have a formal dance at school for end of the year. I'm excited! I was going to get some new make up over the weekend for it, but I never did, so I guess i'll be using old colors. I'm thinking urban decay (yay) in a smokey eye. I'll use browns, and golds. My dress is brown with white polka dots cut above the knee. I got some pretty aweseom shoes ot go with it. They're Jessica Simpson. I am in love with them. too me, they're stylish and simple. They could be worn with jeans, a skirt, dress... etc.

There they are! And yes I have them in white. All the girls at my school are getting french manicures for the dance too. I nixed that. I really dont like the unoriginality of it all. I'm paiting mine right now as I type. Its a china glaze color (I've never tried this brand before, lets hope it holds out well.) Oh yeah! Today The new essie colors came out. I want them so bad. ahhhh! I'll die without them. just kiddddding! :) so, until I write again... happy hair days!
