    It's about time!

Man, its been one whole year since I've updated this thing.  Alot has happened!  Ben and I are finally experiencing the "joys" of home ownership. And by "joys" I mean finding all of the (excuse the phrase) half-assed repair jobs the previous owners hid from us. We have not encountered anything that God has not prepared us to handle.  But we've had a pretty good go-round though. We celebrated our second anniversary in October!  I absolutely love being married, kinda corny I know, but God has blessed me with an amazing man. School is almost over for the semester, and boy am I glad.  It has been a great semester, but I am ready for a big break.  I will finally get to finish my last few classes at WT next fall and graduate next December with my degree in Wildlife Biology.  Hooray!!!  Ben is finishing up Pre-Med and will be done soon as well. I just cant wait until its all over and I can start my career.  Well, just thought I better update.  Nobody will read this anyway, but just in case.... ttyl.

  • This is one blustery day! I am trying to fight a cold before it catches up with me.  I have been sooooo busy, what with school and all.  Last night when I got home from class, get this, my entire house was spotless!  The laundry had been folded and put away, the dishes were done, even the litter box had been changed. I was like magic! My husband had done all of this for me, and I didnt even have to ask.  He knows how stressed I am over school and trying to get well.  He said that he just wanted to take care of me. So now after class today I get to go home and practice on my NEW flute and just relax.  Man,  this is the life.  Our church is getting ready to move to the new building  and get all of the services worked out.  Ben and I have a lot of new music to work on for Christmas and candlelight services... and it is so exciting! We actually get something challanging to play.  Anyway, I have got to get going to my chemistry lab.  God bless  and  Fly with Christ!

    X's and O's

Man, school bites. While my husband and our friends are on the trails in PDC, I am stuck doing homework. Actually, I am burnt out and playing on the computer until I feel like chemistry again... which could be a while. I think I will go for a run, that usually de-stresses me. My next race is not until thanksgiving so I dont have to worry about how far or fast I run; what a relief. I am off the next two days. Hoorrayy!!! Other than homework, I have nothing to do but spend time with Ben. That is time well spent right there.   We are going to go vist my mom in Tulia tommorrow and see my sisters. That should be fun. My sisters are finally at the age where I am the cool big sister who can take them places. Ben is just a jungle gym. Anyway, I gotta get back to "thermodynamics" ( of which I know nothing about, but am required to test over on Wednesday). Have a great rest of the weekend. God bless and Fly with Christ

Wow! I had completely forgotten about this thing. Everything is so crazy these days. Ben and I have been looking for houses, and I think we found the one! I can not wait to have a place of our own. We celebrated our first anniversary in October. It really hasnt felt like a year. It feels like we have always been together, like I never even dated. We just bought a new truck, okay... Ben just bought a new truck. I helped. School is going well. I changed my major to a double in chemistry and biology. I am not sure what I'm getting myself into, but it's worth a shot. A few weekends ago I ran my first 50K (31 miles). It was an insanely tough race down in Palo Duro Canyon. It was a real chalange for me, but I made it through and now I am stronger. I will make sure to post my next message a lot sooner. I still have grocery shopping and homework to do. God bless and Fly with Christ!
